This is only a rough idea, and the title would probably change as well as much of the plot. If you couldn't tell from the title as you read on, this would be a horror.

Seth Jenkins had the perfect life. A popular, rich fifteen year old with slightly higher-than-average grades, a beautiful girlfriend and supportive parents, he couldn't be happier. But he had never liked change. So when his parents decided to move house, he is distraught. But he obeyed his parents. He left his friends, girlfriend and home behind, only up find a large, isolated mansion. He settled in uneasily, wary at first, but growing more and more comfortable as time went on. That was a mistake. He should've stayed cautious. After only seven days and seven nights, the nightmares came. In a place like this, you should never lower your guard.
