When Midoriya woke up in class, no one was there and it was probably already lunch, he grabbed his bento and trudged to Shinso and sat down, a big grin on his face, they ate in silence but by some kind of awful twist of the universe, Katsuki managed to find him, his eyes widened and he kept his head down, pressing more to Shinso, purplenette was about to complain before realizing that Izuku is visibly shaken

"...Midoriya?" Shinso questioned, worry filling his eyes

"Deku... you piece of fucking shit! You said you weren't going to UA!" The blonde shouted and slammed his hand on the table, Izuku flinched as their food bounces a bit, he was shaken up but he tried to continue to eat, Shinso glared at the blonde

"What?! You have nothing to say you lying little abortion?!" Students gasped and was giving Bakugou dirty looks

"What's you're problem? He clearly doesn't want anytime with you and I'm sure you don't, so why don't you, fuck off?!" Shinso stood up and faced Bakugou, blocking Izuku from the blondes sight

"S-Shinso! You don't have to fight him! L-Let's just eat okay?"

"Oh now you have something to say now that you're friend is here, you think you're decent just because you have a friend now? That you have someone to stand up for you? It only took you 14 years, practically your whole fuckign life, congratulations you quirkless piece of-"

Suddenly the alarm rang, students who were watching the fight moved, while Katsuki was being dragged along Shinso swiftly grabbed Izuku and made his way through, they were now on an empty corridor

"Are you okay Izuku?" Izuku tried his hardest he really did, he clutched his polo as tight as he can and tried to smile but tears were spilling out of his eyes

"Izuku..."

"I- y-you didn't have to-"

"Izuku listen to me" Izuku nodded and looked at Shinso

"You're not... you're not a quirkless loser okay? You're not a piece of shit like he said, you're better than that"

"Why are you...? You've met me yesterday"

"Does that mean I can't be a friend to you?"

"Didn't you come here to become a hero?"

"You know what a hero does Izuku?" Izuku shakes his head

"Heroes make people smile. And I am- no we are NOT leaving this corridor until I see you smile okay?" Izuku nodded

It felt like hours but it probably was only a few minutes when Izuku stopped crying, his eyes were still red and it was very apparent that he cried but he isn't crying anymore, he engulfed Shinso in a hug

"T-Thank you- y-you're the first person to ever give a shit about me except from my mom" Shinso hugged him back tentatively

"Okay now lets go back to class okay? No more crying okay?"

Izuku smiled and nodded
