Wide spectrum that that surpassed that of the colors known to man flashed behind his eye lids. It was dead silent, as it was confusing.

'You should be used to it by now', a mysterious voice spoke. It was painfully familiar that he could not fathom the pain ringing in his head.

'You', he whispered

'Yes. And you shall be---'

The words drifted to a hum and all he could hear was the static trying to break his eardrums. The final searing pain that goes with the illusion slowly waned. Then, there was light once again.
