Jace and Clary- Their Future

The Institute

"Luke!" Clary yells down the stairs. "I need another box please! Thank you!" Luke sighs and then grabs another box from the porch and brings it up to Clary. "Oh my Clary. I can't believe your moving out. Were gonna miss you so much. What are we supposed to do?" Clary chuckles "Luke I'm eighteen now and It's not like I'm moving far away I'm moving to the Institute. It's only fifteen minutes away" Luke walk over to her bed and lays down on it. "I know but I remember when you and Simon used to come here when you were in second grade and sleep together in this bed" He tries to sneak a small sniffle but Clary catches him and lays down next to him in her bed. "Luke I love you and Mom so much and you know that, but I'm a adult now I'll be fine" He nods and then doses off.

When Clary notices that Luke fell asleep she slides off the bed and walk down the hallway to her mom and Luke's room. She hears sniffles as she approaches the room. "Mom?" Clary says softly and gently. Jocelyn immediately looks up, "Clary I didn't see you there" She looks down at the tissue in her hand. "Mom are you okay?" Jocelyn shakes her head, "No Clary my little girl is moving out. I'm sad but I really am happy for you" Clary smiles and hops up onto her moms bed and hugs her. "I know Mom. I just had the same conversation with Luke except he fell asleep" Jocelyn chuckled and smiled "Oh Luke he is a mess" They both laughed but he sound of a doorbell cut them off. Jocelyn gasped, "There is Jace and Alec. Are you sure you want to go cause you-" Clary cut her off "Mom I'm going but I'll call you tonight" Before Clary could grt to the door Luke had already let them in. "Luke" she says, "You have awaken from your deep slumber" Jace and Alec laughed. Luke replied, "Ha ha you guys are very funny" He says sarcastically. "Now this girl has a lot of stuff lets go grab it all" Jace smiles at Clary and then they all run up the stairs.

"Geez Clary how much clothes do you have. Not saying Izzy is any better but seriously" Alec says as he carys a box outside followed by Jace. "Quit your whining Alec those were the last two" All of Clary's boxes had filled up the whole trunk the car and then some. "Ok guys thanks I'll be right back. Just gonna say bye to my mom and Luke one more time and then we can go" Clary runs inside ans almost knocks over Luke with a hug with such force. "I'll miss you so much but I promise I will call everyday" she says into his shoulder. "I love you to Clary" Luke says and then nods to her mother. "Mom" Clary says holding back tears, "I'll miss you even more and I'll Come visit I promise. You could even come over to the institute yourself sometime if you want" She lets out a couple of tears. "I know I will. Now go they are waiting" Clary gives one last squeeze and then shuts he door behind her. When she gets to the car Alec is in the drivers seat and Jace is in the back telling Clary to come and sit with him. "Alright who's ready?" Alec yells and they pull out of the driveway with Luke and Jocelyn waving goodbye.

"I'm so happy you decided to come and live with us Clary!" Jace said taking her hand. "Ya me too. I've always really liked you Clay" Alec says. Clary chuckled "Really because I remember the time you told me the Institute was far away from my mom and I's apartment so I should stay away from Jace" Alec thought for a second "Ugh... Well I was in a state of shock" Clary raised her hand up and said "I also remember when I said that you loved Jace and you threatened to kill me" Jace smiled and said "Well I am pretty hard to resist don't you think" Clary smiled at him and then turned back to Alec. "Well we should forget all that we are all friends now" Clary smiled. "I know I just like to mess with you Alec" They all laughed and just enjoyed each others company.

When they pull up to the Institute Isabelle is sitting on the steps waiting for them with her stele in her hand. But, when she sees them pull up she brightens up and smiles. Right when the car stops Clary jumps up and runs over to Isabelle. "Izzy!!" she yells and hugs her friend. "I can't belive you are actually going to live here with us! I am so excited! It's gonna be like having a sister!" Everyone was so excited that she was there that they forgot to bring in Clary's things. So after they had gotten inside they ran back out and each grabed two boxes.

When they walk in the second time Mayrse is there waiting for them. "Hello Clary" she says with a slight smile. She hasen't really smiled much since Max had died so Clary really wasen't expecting much. "Hello Mayrse. Thank you so much again for letting me stay here" She smiled at her "No problem Clary. You knew you were always welcomed here anyway. Well I'll let you guys help Clary unpack and I will see you at dinner" Once Mayrse left they all headed to the elevator. When they got to the top Clary got a nice suprise. her room was righ tin the middle of Jace and Izzy's rooms. "Yes! We are all neighboors! This is going to be amazing!" Izzy said. "Well Izzy we should let Clary and Jace have some time alone. Let's go to the library" Izzy quickly gave Clary once last small squeeze and then chased after Alec.

When Alec and Izzy dissapered around the corridor Jace pulls Clary closer to him. "I've missed you and I think we should spend your first night at the Institute together" Clary nodded her head and reached up to kiss Jace. She missed him since Wednesday when they found out she was moving in. She hasen't seen him since. "I love you Clary" Jace whispered to her softly. "I love you too Jace. But, we should probably start unpacking some of my stuff" Jace sighed and said, "Do we have to?" Clary smiled gave him a quick kiss and said "Yes we do" and then ran into her room.
