Hey Cole! Happy Thanksgiving! Glad you think it looks good because there is a premiere with your name all over it. I hope you can come.

So what's on the agenda for your Thanksgiving?

Colette
Charlie and I are celebrating with my family later tonight. We aren't doing anything with his side of the family because he's from Britain. Weird to think they don't celebrate it over there.

Chris
That's right, this is his first Thanksgiving with you. How's he feeling about the American tradition?

Colette
He's loving the turkey and mashed potatoes, that's for sure. Are you doing anything special?

Chris
Nope. Just with the family

No Ruby?

I told you those articles in April made it seem out to be much bigger than it is. Ruby and I were just catching up. She felt bad about how we left things

Colette
I know, I know. I just wish things had worked out between you two. I want you to be happy

I am happy Cole, I promise. Now go celebrate Thanksgiving with your family

Colette
Yes, believe it or not, I do remember being in love

Mom
Just asking. I like having Charlie here. It's good to see you happy

Why do I feel a 'but' coming on?

Mom
I just wonder if you could be happier with someone else. You didn't see how much you used to light up when you talked about Chris

I like Charlie, Mom. He treats me really well. Besides, loving Chris was just a phase. I was alone and I hated being by myself. I was just lonely

Mom
Whatever you say, sweetie. Just don't turn an opportunity away if it comes, okay? I love seeing you happy

Colette
I thought you said you liked Charlie because he made me happy?

Mom
I think we both know you'd be a little happier with someone else, sweetie
