More than best friends?

Knocking the door for confirmation that someone was not halfway through changing in my room i opened as soon as i heard Sehun shout that he was done.

What i saw was almost as shocking as realising that mysterious matresses had somehow ended up in our apartment, okay maybe it was a bit more shocking. Sehun was dressed in pink pjs with a colourful dotty design. I couldn't resist making a comment about his very nice style of pajamas, he gave me a hard stare saying do not cross the line.

"Ji hyun got it for me," was all he said his arms crossed but i could tell he wasn't that angry with the cute pout he was making.

"Ok," i said smiling skipping up to him ruffling his hair fondly.

"I understand dude, i really do" was the best i vould comfort him with. As he was leaving he turned around almost catching me laughing. After he left i went to change as well, i came out in my more 'normal pjs.'

I knocked on the door and after hearing the girls shout ok i opened it to see the both of them were done and in their beds ready to sleep.

"Turn off the lights please," i heard Soji say just before i was about to leave. I slowly shut the door saying goodnight to both of the girls.

"Good night Chanster," they both chorused. I began walking to my room where Sehun was already in bed, or his matress? Shutting off the light i quickly scurried over to my bed accidently stepping on a certain someone on the way.

"Oww hyungggg," sehun winced in pain. Whoopsies i guess when a person over 1.8 m guy stands on on you it would hurt a little bit.

"You ok?" I asked making sure that i hadn't seriously hurt him, you never know what could happen.

"It's fine," he reasurred me, so i continued trying to remember where exactely my bed was again. Hopping in to the bed i was so close to getting to sleep when...

"Hyung?" Sehun asked. "Are you asleep," i didn't answer.

"Hyung?" He asked again uncertaintaty laced with his voice.

"Yea Sehunnie," i answered this time.

"Can i ask you about something?" he asked yet another question.

"Of course," i answered. I had always given Sehun advice about things from when he was in one of his stormy times to when he and Ji hyun were fighting, even in times like when some people were bothering Hyunnie at school.

"Do you think Ji hyun hates me?,"

"Huh?" I responded a bit stupidly not expecting that he would be asking this.

"Well it's just Hyunnie and i are always fighting, but you and Soji seem to never fight." He was sounding broken by now, i guessed all the fighting actually did affect no matter how much he didn't show it.

"We do fight you know Sehunnie, you've seen us before, remember last week?" I tried convining him that we weren't perfect either.

"But the way that you and Ji fight isn't like what Hyunnie and i are like. Our's seems so much more serious, it's like you guys have never even had a serious fight before. You never make Ji cry but do you know how many times Hyunnie has cried because of me? I wouldn't be suprised if she doesn't like me anymore, if she even decides not to talk to me anymore i don't think i'll be that shocked" it was silent for a while after he let all of his feelings out.

" You know i've made Soji cry before," i whispered softly.

"Huh," Sehunnie answered like when he told me that he though Ji hyun hated him.

"What happened?" He asked but i just stayed silent not wanting to talk about it yet, he took the silence as me not wanting to further talk about it so he decided not to keep relentlessly answering me questions. Both of us knew that there are times you just need to stop asking.

The silence was now becoming more uncomfortable and i could tell that i still hadn't convinced him that Ji hyun didnt hate him.

"Sehun, you and Ji hyun are more alike than you think, how else would you be able to spend so much time together together, and even when its silent it feels comfortable right? True friends don't to talk all the time, just being with each other is enough. And to Ji hyun aren't you her closest friend in your school year? You know that she realises why people stop pestering her. Do you know how many times she's talked about you to us, she doesn't hate you at all Sehun, in fact i think you're one of her closest friends that she treasures the most. Just because you guys don't get along all the time doesn't mean that you guys aren't friends. Close friends fight with each other all the time but the important thing is that they make up and return to being friends. Fighting is another way for her to show you affection, and your way too. And don't tell me that you two have never not fought for at least one day, because i know that you two have had your good times. Remember this morning you two seemed to be comfortable chatting with her. And when that annoying waitress said something about her you went and helped her, to her you're a person that she can lean on on the hard times, someone that protects her and someone that she will always no matter still like," i ended my speech feeling slightly proud of what i had just said.

"Do you really think so hyung?" He asked like a little kid the innocence in voice happy like a little kid was getting praised almost like the way Soji promised me.

"Of course, now go to sleep it's already late and i'm tired," i yawned actually tired from my very inspirational speech.

"Okay hyung goodnight, sweet dreams," Sehun said falling asleep almost immediately.

"Nighty night Sehunnie, sweet dreams to you too. And remember as long as you can make up when you have fights everyhing will be okay.
