More than best friends?

Thanking me for the food we all began eating my homemade bimbimbab which i might say myself was super delicious. There was a comfortable atmosphere the events of the morning already forgotten and i began to relax as well hearing the constant chatter between my friends. I was still day dreaming when my attention came back because a certain someone sitting next to me was poking my arm.

"Channnnnnnnn," i heard Soji's voice calling my name bringing back my attention.

"Yea," i replied and saw that she was pointing to Sehun who looked like he was about to say something.

"Who were you with yesterday?" he asked " Ji hyun and i were at the supermarket yesterday getting some things when we saw you. Hyunnie wanted to suprise you but you were talking to someone so i told her not to disturb you. Who was that girl?"

So this was peobably why they didn't come visit us yesterday, probably caught in another fight. I sneaked a peek at jJi who was waiting for the answer not seemingly affected that Sehun had just asked me why i was talking to a girl yesterday, she didn't care at all. Well it's not like i like her, i mean i like her, but i don't like her in the like that other people think that i like her. Ugggh, i'm confusing myself as well now, it would be too awkward if we did, plus we can show everyone that you can be best friends and not need to be girlfriend and boyfriend. I also don't want to lose the connection we have. In fact i dont want to lose the bond i've made with all my friends which are hingrily eating my food right now.

"She's just one of my mum's friends daughter. You know how parents can be sometimes." they all nodded, our parents always made us play with their friends children saying how good we look together. It wasn't that i don't like my mum it's just i don't want a girlfriend and when i do get one i want to be the one who chooses her. It's been forever since i dated anyone anyway.

I shook my head trying to forget about her, that day, i was never going to get a girlfriend. Again.

"Was she your girlfriend?" i heard sehun tease my a playful look on his face showing me that he wasn't trying to say anything bad.

"N-" before i could reply i was cut off by Ji hyun.

"Sehun, of course not, you now Chanyeol has Ji," she stated. She was one of the many who was trying to get us together, she had a tendency to ship whenever and wherever. Drama's, manga's and kpop idol's, she seemed to ship everyone which she thought was cute together.

"Of course,i forgot," he replied teaming up with Hyunnie to tease us, especially because he must have been able to see that my cheek was slowly getting redder. Soji looked normal, seriously doesn't she even feel a little bit embarresed Ji Hyun was practically calling us a couple. Well i already knew she didn't like me in that way but sometimes i think it would be nice.....

"Guys, you know i don't have a girlfriend," i said to Ji hyun and Sehun. I was hoping to talk about how i liked So ji but not in that way but something tells me Ji hyun would twist it around making it look like i did like her.

"But why?" Ji hyun asked, "why don't you have a girlfriend?" Did she really have to ask this question? If i told her she would talk about the love i was feeling but that i just couldn't realise it yet.

About a year ago

"Oppa here, come here," i quickly walked towards my new beautiful girlfriend who was waving at me siting down at a table. I arrived at the table were she was at and gave her a huge hug and whispered softly in her ears that i was sorry for being late. I was glad she didn't ask me for a reason why, it would've created an awkward response. How was i supposed to explain to her that i was busy making sure my roomate would not accidently start a fire with her carelessness while reheating her dinner that I made for her. And of course that my roomate was a girl.
