More than best friends?

"I'll go get her, you guys finish your food before it goes cold" Sehun stood up one hand running through his hair. Even though they fought, Sehun was overprotective and cared a lot about her. Which is why he probably always apologized first. I knew how hard it took him to convince her she wasn't ugly at all and to raise her self esteem of course when he did someone knocked down all his efforts. It wasnt like she didnt fit with us, she was pretty too but she listens to too much of what others say about her.

"Umm, Sehun?" Chanyeol asked if Sehun was listening..

"Yes hyung," The younger answered.

"Isn't she in the girls bathroom? You're not going in there right, because like, you know, it's a girl's bathroom," he blabbered. Putting my hand over Chanyeol's never stopping blabbling mouth I signaled my head to let him know to go now. Even though he's cute its not the time for him to be interfereing.

Sehun left to bring back Ji, while Chanyeol was eating as if nothing had happened and seeing how my food was going to get cold I began eating as well. Chanyeol finished and was patiently waited for me, and I soon finished too licking of the last remains off my fork. We were busy talking when Sehun came out to get something from her bag, it was an unfortunate coinidence that the annoying waitress had just come back to get our plates.

"Glad to see that ugly face has left, you guys are really way more good looking than her, why did you want to be friends with her? Was it out of pity?," with a twirl she began to walk away while Chanyeol and i tried to keep Sehun from killing her, yup definitely don't want to get on their bad side. Sehun went back to Ji after we had convinced him not to kill the waitress, for now i don't know how long i can keep a murderous sehun from killing anyone.

It was a few more minutes before Ji and Sehun came out. Jumping up I went to comfort her giving her a huge hug while Chanyeol patted her back.

"Are you okay?" I asked,

"I'm okay," her red rimmed eyes met mine and I patted her head.

"Don't listen to what the waitress said, you're way prettier than her, inside and out."

"Thanks Ji (umm just gonna say if you're a bit confused they call each other ji because their names both have ji in it but other people call ji hyun hunnie or her real name),you guys are the best friends ever,"

"She's just jealous you have Sehun, that's more than she ever had." i whispered quietly into her ears.
She then turned to give Chanyeol a big hug as well although it was really funny that the height difference was huge. When i thought i looked short next to Chanyeol, Ji looked like a kid.

"She's crazy, did you see what she was doing to us hyunnie?"

"Thanks,Chanyeol," she said head turned up to face him. We quickly left the place noticing some staring from the other costumers.

We then parted each going a different way, following Chanyeol, I got into the car again. It was silent only the sound of Shinee playing on the radio.

"So ji,"

"Hmm" I responded still daydreaming,

"Umm, well, I wanna say that you're very pretty too, and that if anyone every says something like that, i'll stop them for you,"

"Thanks, Chanyeol, your pretty cute yourself," I said pinching one of his cheeks.

"I'm driving Ji," he pointed out, but i think he just doesn't want to be pinched on the cheek.

"Oops, sorry," I looked out the window again.

Time seemed to fly by and before i knew it we were outside our apartment door while i was waiting for Chanyeol to open the door which took him a lot longer than somone who's been living at this place for a few years to do. when he finally got the door open i ran straight for the TV.
