Imagine Peter smiling as he sees you with a pet rat
His eyes wander to youand where you sit on the armchair in the Gryffindor common room, feeding the small, light brown rat from the palm of your hand. A wide smile tugs at his lips as you smile triumphantly after getting the pet to take a thin slice of banana from your fingers.
You look up and catch him looking at you with a smile which you happily return, a faint blush dusting your cheekbones.
"You like rats?" You ask with a smile as he nods. "She's called Minnie, like the mouse, but in rat form. You wanna stroke her?"
You cradle the small creature in your arms as you sidle up close to him, carefully placing the rat in his arms, laughing as she tries to crawl up the top of his jumper.
"She likes you." You say with a laugh, your lips curling into a smile as your eyes lock together.
Hopefully she isn't the only one, he thinks to himself.
And she isn't the only one.
Ik loads of people don't like Pettigrew but some of these are kinda cute and he was a really nice person back when he was younger and in Hogwarts so please deal with it.
