**UNDERGOING MAJOR REWRITES, PLEASE BE PATIENT AS THE STORY WILL BE MUCH BETTER WHEN FINISHED**
Hi all! I started writing this in high school and found it randomly one day so I started to rewrite it. It's not amazing, but it's a pretty good wattpad story so far.
But anyways, you know the drill. I could drone on about rights but please just be courteous and don't copy :)
Ok now that that's over with, here's the description of the book again if you prefer to read in page-to-page formatting.
~
Ariana Barnes grew up in the small beachside town of Seaside, California, surrounded by California sunshine and fresh ocean air. Her parents, while not perfect, loved her wholeheartedly. They faithfully encouraged her to become the most outgoing and vibrant little girl in town. Ariana was Seaside's golden girl for 13 years running before her life was turned upside down.
With her mother in prison for reasons unknown to her and her father's increasing fearsome paranoia, she was confronted with the harsh reality of life when she was forced to relocate 3,000 miles away from everything she knew.
Left behind was her shy and quiet best friend, Percy Richards. Born to a literary obsessed stay-at-home mother and stoic, if anything else, father, Ariana was an adventure Percy met with excitement every day since they met in kindergarten.
Despite the distance, Ariana and Percy kept in touch through letters and phone calls, but the once inseparable duo felt the growing divide between them as time passed. Percy found solace in girls and football, while Ariana navigated her new surroundings with a mixture of resilience and uncertainty.
With four years of distance and baggage following behind her, Ariana makes her way back to the seaside town for the first time since her father moved them away.
Everything has changed.
