Third Person's P.O.V.:

Thanos is on his way to Earth with his armies, in attempt to conquer the universe along with it. Friday detected a red flag in the energy level displayed in miles away from Earth. She informed Tony but he was unsure if he should pay it any mind.

He walks into the kitchen of the compound and pours himself a large cup of coffee. He leans against the counter and closes his eyes as he takes a big gulp of his coffee.

Wanda and Vision walk into the kitchen hand-in-hand. Wanda giggles at something he said but her smile soon fell when she sees Tony holding a coffee in one hand and rubbing his temple with the other.

"Tony? Are you alright?" Vision asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just... thinking." Tony lies.

"If this is about Pepper, she'll be back before you know it." Wanda reassures.

"I don't believe that for a second, and it's not about Pepper. It's about something else." Tony says.

"Then what is it that is on your mind, Tony?" Vision asks.

"Follow me." Tony says before walking to his lab.

Vision and Wanda follow Tony into his lab where he pulls up a hologram file that Friday created.

"This is what Friday found a few days ago. There was a shift in the normal energy levels five miles away from Earth. The last time there was a shift this big, Loki came with the Chitauri." Tony explains.

"Who's Loki?" Wanda asks.

"Thor's adopted brother. He came to Earth to turn it into a place he would rule as his own dominion. He didn't care what he had to do to get it." Natasha states as she leans against the doorway.

"His scepter withheld the stone that maintains my existence." Vision adds.

"My question is: why haven't you said anything sooner?" Natasha asks.

"Because I was unsure if it was true. It's been days and nothing has happened. Maybe it was just a technical issue in space."

"Or maybe there is another threat heading straight towards Earth right now as we speak. And days that you kept this to yourself, we could have been preparing. We could have to been creating contingencies. But we didn't, and all for the what, because you were unsure if it meant anything?" Natasha snaps.

"Truthfully? I didn't want to have another excuse to abandon Pepper. She hasn't talked to me in months and I just... I want her back. I won't ever have a chance to make things right. And I'm tired; I'm tired of always being in a fight. We with other countries, a fight with other galaxies, I'm just tired.." Tony explains.

"What are you saying, Tony?" Wanda asks.

"I'm saying that after this battle with whatever the hell breaks through the exosphere, I'm quitting, I'm done." Tony states.

Silence filled the room until he adds:

"Round up your friends, I'll call Cap."

He walks out of the room and Wakanda, Vision and Natasha all exchanged a look.

Ashanti stands on the edge of the balcony and watches as the birds flee from their homes and glide through the air. She always enjoyed being around animals instead of people. Animals don't judge her or ask her all kinds of questions. They just sit by her side and watch nature with her.
