I can't do anything right. I can't speak without saying something stupid. I can't leave the house without mucking something up. I can barely do anything at home without regretting it . I feel like the world is going to eat me alive. I haven't left my bedroom in a week, just because I'm too scared to look anyone in the eyes.

However, in those past 7 days of isolation, I have realised that the only way I can make this situation better is by overcoming it. It will take me time, and I know that, but I can't live like this forever. I'm 16. I should be going out with my friends, going shopping, living a normal teenage life but instead I sit inside and play my guitar like a loner.
Then an idea popped into my head. If I can't do anything in real life, I'll do it online. I don't have to look at someone when I speak. I don't need to speak at all if I don't want to. It's heaven in my eyes.

So I have devised a plan. I'll set up a YouTube account and I will post a cover on my guitar. I won't show my face and I won't say anything but the lyrics of the song.

I whipped out my phone and I filmed for an hour straight trying to get a clean run of the song, which was called "Timelapse" by someone called Zach Herron. I had never really heard of him before but the song was pretty catchy. Once I had the perfect video I uploaded it to my channel and prayed for the best. What was the 'best' you may ask? The best was a friend, an anchor to steady my gigantic vessel of anxiety.
