The First Day

Chapter 1

It's the first day of school, and I'm just hanging out with all of my friends.  I see people walking by staring at me, that could be because I got a new haircut and some new clothes, along with some new shoes. I feel so fresh and clean with all this new stuff.

First hour hasn't started yet, but will soon, I'm sitting in the cafeteria eating breakfast waiting for class to start. My friends are just talking away like we haven't seen each other in a long time, but it's only been a week or so.  I see alot of people that I haven't talked to in a few months, some I seen at the parties that I went to, they're cool, but not as cool as me, my friends say. I don't believe that for one second, they say I'm the coolest guy ever, but there are people that are way cooler than me.

The bell rings, and every one is getting their trays and dumping whatever food they had left into the trash can, I grab my tray and do the same, I grab my bag and head to first hour. I looked at my sheudele once, and already recognised all of my classes, my first hour was gym, which is my favorite class.

I get inside the gym room and see all my friends have it with me too, we sit down on the bleachers, waiting for our new coach, I heard that he/she was really cool, I'm not sure whether it's a male or female, either way I'm just pumped to play basketball this year.

A male guy, seems to be in his early 40s, comes in and starts to talk to us "Hello, I'm your new coach, Mr. Adwell, nice to meet all of you". He seems like a nice guy, but I'm not sure yet, I'll have to have had him longer to know whether I like him or not. He goes by role call then he gets to me "Joey Addams" he says, I reply with present as I normally do, he gives me this smile and goes back to his chart. After he's done with everyone, he tells us we can do whatever we want for today, and that tomorrow we'll be doing something, so me and my friends play basketball.

The bell for first hour ends and we go into our second hour, which is history. I walk in with sweat still pouring down my forehead, I walk in to see a new teacher, she is so beautiful, I'd never seen her before, she's standing at the front of the class waiting for everyone to sit down, once everyone was in she began to write on the board. She turns around and repeats what the board says "Hello, my name is Ms. Griffin".
