~~ A Surprising Relationship ~~ !BILLDIP!

Tragedy

                   It was a beautiful day in Gravity Falls! The reports and concerns people had about that strange man have been forgotten. Nobody has reported him in months. Dipper, Wendy, and Mable were relaxing on the roof, enjoying the sunlight, at Wendy's secret spot. Dipper took a deep breath. "What a relaxing day." He sighed.

"Right? Its so relaxing! Beautiful too!" Wendy smiled warmly. She looked at Dipper the to Mable. She grabbed both of them and pulled them both into a giant hug. "Its been too long since we last hung out guys!" 

"Heh, I agree with ya on that one." Dipper chuckled.

"Wendy! Lets go!" A voice from below sounded, causing Wendy to sit up, look down to the source of the voice, then look back at the pine twins with a smirk. 

"Come on Mr. FunTimes!" Wendy dragged Dipper and his sister back down into the gift shop. She ran out the door, still dragging them, and stopped in front of a blue van. "Lets hang!" She pushed the twins into the van and they all drove off. 

Soos's POV

My phone rang from inside the office. I ran to go pick it up. To my surprise it was the police. I panicked, quickly asking what was wrong, and if there was a problem with me. "Sir!" The policemen interrupted me. "Its about the Pine's... You must inform them that their parents have perished in a terrible fire." 

"..." I couldn't say anything. I was frozen in shock.

"Sir..?" 

"..."

"Sir.."

"..."

"SIR!" 

"O-Oh yeah... I'll make sure that gets to them..." And with that I hung up. How was I going to tell Hambone and Dip about this..? I heard a knock on my door, I assumed it was Wendy. "C-Come in..." 

"Hey Soos. I see you've taken good care of the shack while I was away." Stan's raspy voice could be heard.

"Mr. Pines!!" I smiled brightly and hugged the Stans. "You know the twins came back this summer." 

"That's great! Where are they?" Ford asked.

"Oh, they're hangin with Wendy and her friends right now. There's also terrible news... I just found out now but... Their parents are goners..." I sighed.

"Who's parents? Dipper and Mable's?" Ford asked, to which I nodded. I could see them exchange glances of grief and shock. 

"How am I supposed to tell them?" I asked, panicking again. 

"Whoa, Soos, relax! Me and my brother got this!" Stan put a hand on my shoulder, looking at me with a sympathetic look. 

"A-Alright." A car, screeching to a stop, could be heard outside the Mystery Shack. "That must be them..." We all walked outside, and calmly waited for the twins to hop out. Wendy was the first to come out, then Mable, then Dipper. Dip was the first to notice us. He ran up to the Stan bothers and hugged them, afterwards giving me a hug. "You haven't been gone that long Dip, why ya hugging me?" He looked up at me with a warm smile. 

"Because you deserve a hug!" Hambone interrupted Dipper before he even said a word. "Hugs are the best, and you looked like you needed one!" 

"Hey, kids, come inside, me, my brother, and Soos have to tell you something..." Ford lead us all inside. Everyone but me, Stan, and Ford were sitting. "Alright... I don't know how to give this too you easily, so I'm going to give it to ya straight... Your parents... Are kinda goners.." Ford sighed. 

I watched in horror as I saw Hambone's face turn to pure and utter heartbreak. Dipper had his jaw dropped and his eyes wide. Both were already crying. I couldn't watch. I walked out of the room. I plugged my ears so I could block out their sobbing. It was tearing my heart to pieces.

This is a true tragedy...
