After we got dressed, we climbed into Dimitri's dark SUV and set off to St. Vladimir's School for Morri and Dhamphirs.
I had runaway from St. Vlads in order to keep myself safe. I had ran from Dimitri when he tried to reason with me. He had tried to get me to stay at School. I was only seventeen then.
After the school had found out about my brother Adrian and I, they wanted to figure out what it was that made him and I able to heal people and walk dreams. We also had the power to compel on a massive scale. Way better than any other morri could, but that's why I ran away.
I wasn't ready for all those tests they'd have to give me. I can't handle blood work. I know its ironic, but it's the needles that unnerve me. The part that I can't handle.
We were about halfway to the academy. I was beginning to get nervous agian. A tear leaked from my eye as I imagined some of the horrible things that might take place there.
I stop crying and fall asleep. In my field of vision I see fog, which is all I see until I come face to face with my brother.
