Chapter o n e

I saw everything in black and white. Nothing can make my bones shiver with excitement. Nothing can fuel a fire inside my chest. I was a walking dead man with a gun strapped to his waist with no life inside of him until I met her .

The minute I laid eyes on her I was lost for words and I'm not even exaggerating.I stared at her for several minutes as my mouth shook trying to map together words.Words trying describe how the God or Gods up there could send some one as lovely as her down here? Because if I were him or them I would of kept her all to myself because she was like limited edition shoes, but she was way more than shoes. She is beautiful.

"Would you like anything to drink?" She asked in the softest voice ever.It was so soft, her voice fell over me like raindrops. drip, drip, drip .

"You." I craved to say, but the innocent teenager would of been creeped out. After all it was just us alone in the small restaurant, she was left alone to do the night shift and I was just a twenty-one year old man with a craving for a burger, but that craving was turning in to desire.Desire for her.

I once again was trying to map together words, but what do you say to a godess? Because my oh my she was more than a waitress in a tight little white dress that reached her knees, she was light, she was an addiction that couldn't be tamed and she was soon to be mine.

"What is your name?" I asked.I didn't worry about my shaky voice, I just worried of the feeling in my stomach when she pulled her lip in between her teeth

Pouty lips the color of cherries, but proably the taste of strawberries. And besides instanly craving to kiss them, I craved to run my finger over them.To touch the lips of God.To touch the lips of addiction. Of a godess. Of Her.

"They call me Nix , nice to meet you." The Godess beamed and I felt the air inside me decreasing when she smiled. When she smile.

Pearly white teeth that stood up straight, revealing pure perfection and two cute little buck teeths that mirrored innocence. The smile was a real one, not the one's the sales people at the mall shine at you. It's the smile that caused wrinkles by your eyes and made your cheeks burn.It was her smile, my favorite smile.

Nix , a nickname.Way to ordinary for such a godess like her.Three letters weren't enough to describe such beauty, such innocence, such light that she carried in her stance, in her smile, in her hair, in the curve of her breasts, in the hump of her bottom or underneath the bruises trailing up her arms.

"I'm not they kitten, so what can I call you?" I asked, loving the confidence soaring through me the minute her cheeks turn into a pink color.

She didn't reply right away.I just gazed at her.She looked under eighteen years old, but her body empowered the body of a woman.I gazed at her bottom when she walked around cleaning tables. And I gazed at her breast that were a lovely size, it was the size to fill up my large hands. And her legs were long, long like a never ending trail of kisses that I wanted to place against her forehead all the way down to her small little feet.

"It's a weird name, so don't tease." She laughed and all I could think was wow. The way she would tilt her head back slightly, her eyes squinting and her pouty lips revealing music.Wow, wow, wow.

"I promise." I laughed as well.Wow again and not because my laugh is music like her's, but wow because I haven't heard myself laugh in years.

"My name is Phoenix. "  The Godess named Phoenix said and I froze.Every muscle in my body took a sharp inhale, trying to consume all the air it could get because she was taking my breath away with every word she said.Perfect

Phoenix.  The girl who works late hours at a restaurant called The Pier. A girl to young for me, but that still dosen't pause my desire for her. A girl with bruises trailing up her arms for some unknown reason. A girl who laughs like it will be the last time she ever laughs. A girl that smiles like she's the happiest person on this planet.A girl that looks like a God, but she dosen't know it. A girl that became my obsession, my addiction, my partner, my lover and my Phoenix.

"It's an absolute pleasure meeting you Phoenix. " I whisper. Staring at her smiling face and I so badly wanted to scream to the world that I see it. I see God, oh wait, it's Phoenix.
