"One beef burger with extra cheese, french fries, and a coke for me, please." I smiled as I ordered some food.

Maybe ordering comfort food at 12 o'clock with Aaron Knight in a random diner, is somehow, an act of surrender, compared to my wall of stubborness. Which is not that strong in front of sizzling coke and hot potatoes.

"So, what makes you give in to me, and start to order something after an hour of silence?" Aaron said while biting his fries, victory and amusement clearly written in his face.

And what he said is true. For a straight 60 minutes, I refused to talk nor eat, in front of him. Simply because he pissed me off.

"Because I'm hungry. Happy, now?" I put my head in my hand.

"A bit." Playing a smile on his face. Oh, boy he really gets on my nerves.

"So, what are you doing in BlackLips? Alone? And suddenly talking to me? Or even remember me?" I picked his fries, planning to stuff it into my mouth.

But unfortunately, he grabbed my hand, and ate the french fries, while licking my fingers in the process.

"Ew! Gross!" I half-yelled while cleaning my finger with his shirt.

He laughed as he moved away, to avoid my hand.

"Who's the chatty one, right now?" again, he mocks me, while laughing at me.

'Whatever' I mumbled while begin to eat my burger that finally came.

"I sometimes hang out alone in some venues, to explore new music. Alone because it's more comfortable that way. And i didn't suddenly talk to you, as a matter of fact, I sometimes tried. I do remember you since you're pretty well known and you're my new chemistry partner as of this semester." He suddenly attacks me with his ramble.

"Huh?" I paused my chewing as I stared at him.

"The answers to your questions, Roxanne."

'Oh...' I slowly chewed and swallowed it. "Wait... I'm well known?" I looked up from my burger to meet his eyes, not embarrassed at all to be caught looking at me.

"Yeah. People know you as the mysterious girl in black, or the hoodie girl, or the scary nerd or some shit. You give off a vibe that says: 'don't come near me or I'll slam your head to the wall.'" Aaron explains while sipping on his strawberry milkshake.

I nodded my head, satisfied. "I'm glad I had such an intimidating vibe at times." He chuckled and shook his head at my weirdness.

"I gotta say though, I'm surprised to hear that you like to hang out alone, since you're always with your group of friends. And I rarely see you at venues, because I often goes there. I thought you're the 'party every night' type." I guess that's life. All this time of us hanging out separately at the same spots but just now that we bumped into each other.

"Well, in life, if you overdo something, it always has a side effect. Usually."

He said calmly. A new side of Aaron. I never knew he could said something like that.

"Example?" I asked him, curious.

"Hmm..." thinking, he said, "Fat people. If you ate too much, you'll become fat."

"Not if you work out or something." I replied.

"True. Work out, in this case, is the way to balance it. If you didn't work out, you'll become fat. And sometimes, fat makes you lazy. Because you're too heavy to move."

"Continue, please." I said.

"In my case, if I live in the crowd too much, i won't have time for myself. Eventually, i'll become easily exhausted. But if I spare some of my time to relax and let my mind wander a while,"
