"Babe, did you get the milk like I asked you to?" The shout across the apartment was playful, yet curious. The heart stopped of the man walking into the door, he had forgotten to go to the store on the way home.
"Rocky? You're home right?" Rocky, the guy in question quickly rushed out the door and to their neighbors door. He furiously knocked until the brown door opened. Their neighbor, an average guy who always seemed to be talking to someone that wasn't there, opened the door. He pushed up his goggles and peered at his friend.
"This better be important, you interrupted my D&D." Jacky crossed his arms at Rocky, frowning, which brought out the stress lines on his face.
"Do you have any milk, Deliand will actually kill me if I don't have any." Rocky pleaded. Jacky turned back into the small space, his dark green hair falling in front of his goggles. He yelled something, waited, then waltzed over to the fridge. He got a whole milk carton out and brought it to Rocky. The sigh of relief was followed by his boyfriend yelling his name from inside their apartment.
"It's a buck 75 for the milk, pay me back if you don't die." Jacky joked before going back to his game. Rocky ran back to the apartment, looking inside the cracked door to see if the coast was clear. He was instead met by a blue eye staring right back at him. He heard a small yelp and a thud onto the hardwood floor. Quickly opening the door, he saw Deliand on the ground, a hand over his rapid heart.
"Did I scare you, honey?" Rocky asked, receiving a kick to his shin for the comment. He held up the milk, shaking it and all of it's glory. Deliand looked at it, rolled his eyes, and held his arms up; making grabby hands like a two year old. Setting the liquid down on the small table by the front door, Rocky reached down and picked up his tiny human. He was given a hug, smiling at the affection.
"I'm sorry, I had to go get this from my bike, my hands were full." He rested his head on the soft brown hair, combing through it calmingly. He sighed, pulling back to look at the pouting face. Rocky rolled his eyes, booping the button nose, and earning a laugh. He picked up the milk and put it away in the dingy fridge they had. He closed his eyes, feeling his body once again transform into its true self.
"You need a shower, your hair is a grease ball." Commenting about his hygiene, Deliand started to make dinner. He got a pot and filled it with water, turning back to look at Rocky. His boyfriend was a neon blue, but it was light and faded. His eyes went from brown iris' to the whole thing being a charcoal color. The hair stayed the same, the deep midnight black standing out against his skin.
"Do you want pasta or hard boiled eggs tonight?" The brown haired male was looking through the fridge and pantry for dinner options. Moving to see his greasy head, Rocky yelled for pasta. He ran his hands through it, cringing at the texture.
"I'll shower, and be done before dinner, okay?" He heard the reply, and went to the bathroom to clean himself. Stripping of all of his clothes, Rocky stared at his reflection. His blue body was built like a human's, so his toned muscles showed off some abs and pectorals. He looked into his own eyes, picturing Deliand's instead. He had the blue oceans memorized after staring at them endlessly. He knew that his right eye twitched when he was upset, and how they would go clear in pure sunlight.
"Man, I am so far in." He told himself, turning the shower on. It's not like he didn't want to be in love with Deliand, he just didn't want his fellow species to hurt him. They were not meant to love, but here Rocky was, head over heels for a human. He sighed, but moaned at the heat of the water hitting his tense back. He massaged his neck, and lathered his body with soap.
"Rocky, do you need anything? I finished dinner." The compassionate voice on the other side questioned. He thought for a minute, then nodded.
"Can I get a head massage?" Rocky rinsed his body as the door opened. Deliand stepped in, smiling. He undressed as well, and stepped into the shower as well. Having the same reaction as Rocky, Deliand relaxed. He turned and got the special mixture of shampoo for his boyfriend. He got some in his hand, and reached up in order to massage the scalp.
