"omg girl you are glowing miracle" tay smiled at me i laughed knowing she was right i was officially divorced and me and my family where officially u.s. citizens it was a long process but it worked out for the best after that night with me and dave i quit and didnt speak to him any more know that was a little harsh but he kissed me while he had a girlfriend which showed me he didnt have any respect for me my brand or his lady i had moved to texas for a big break and get out of new york i could only smile at how happy i was right now
"well lets go go celebrate its been awhile sense we been in new york and im craving some chopped cheese" cassie nudged me i nodded i have three roommates with me it was tay of course cassie and nia you rarely seen one without the others
"i want some cheddars" nia butted in
"you always want some of that shit its crazy the people know your name by heart in there and its crazy" i laughed we all joked and laughed as we walked down the busy streets of new york investing ourselves in our own conversations but my mind kept slipping to dave i mean i havent seen him in so long and being here after so long made me really miss him i know he probably hate me for just up and leaving after all we had accomplished with each other
"what you thinking about" tay grabbed my arm
"nothing much" i mumbled
"why dont you go see him before we leave"
"go see who" i acted stupid
"you know who i mean you kinda owe him an explanation on why you just left him after a small ass kiss"
"it wasnt a small kiss" i defended myself
"it was unless you thought more of it yall could have talked that shit out and you know it but you always running from your problems instead of facing it head on"she stated
"i dont know he going to hate" i mumbled
"hell what else would you expect you know what we are going over there and your going to apologize and you can finally leave all of this new york mess in new york" she told me i nodded she told the girls that we was going to meet them back at the room the agreed and we dipped off calling an uber to come get us when and we slowly approached dave house my stomach started to do flips i was having a mini break down
"i cant do this stop the car turn around please" my accent came out thick but tay told him no and to keep riding
"look we doing this you cant run away forever"
"what if he dosent live here anymore" i asked her
"then we tried hell at least we know that we tried" she told me i was sweating and if you didnt know any better you would think i had ants in my pants we pulled into his drive ways and i instantly spotted his old car in the back of the garage i gulped because he didnt move me and tay got out i was cracking under the pressure i just wanted to run my breathing got heavy nothing was working
"i think im having a panic attack" i told her she looked at me gripping my hand tightly
"i got you" as she rung the doorbell over and over again like a crazy person i snatched her hand down from the door before i could curse her out there he was in the flesh with no shirt on looking at us shocked we held the same expression before he slammed the door in our face i wanted to cry but tay just held on to my hand before beating on the door like the police i stood froze in that one spot for so long that i didnt realize what was going on which was tay taking off her shoes about to fight this man i grabbed her by the waist pulling her back so she couldnt hit him
"yo miracle get your girl" he shouted
"we are gone we wont come back im sorry" i mumbled grabbing her
"no he slammed the door in my damn face that deserves an ass whooping" she shouted
"we came to his house unannounced"i told her
"that dont mean be rude i should have threw my heel at his big headed ass"
"told you this was a bad idea but we tried and we can go home and chill" i told her
"MIRACLE!!!! MIRACLE!!!" i heard my name being yelled i turned around seeing dave running towards us
"i told you he loved you" she nudged me he finally caught up to us he stood right in front of us making me squirm in his presence
"yes" i mumbled
"come inside i shouldnt have slammed the door in yall face just please come in i dont want you walking on these streets this late at night" he told us
"well.. we not moving you got to carry my girl in the house she tired and her feet hurt" tay snapped i looked at her like she was crazy but before i knew it i was being swept off my i yelled as tay cheered behind me i could only laugh as we walked in the house i seen a house full of people even layla my whole face dropped he put me down me and layla made eye contact and if looks could kill i would be dead
"bae why where you carrying her" layla asked
"because bitch he grown you dont own him" tay snapped
"i actually do sense i am his wife" she looked at us up and down i had to calm my nerves because i was about to go off
"look i didnt mean to cause any trouble i was just coming to check on you dave you seem good me and tay will be heading out" i told her
"bitch he got a bar give me ten minutes and then we can go" tay said leaving me over here with layla and dave glare on me
"damn ma you so fine can i get to know" some dude with curly hair smiled in my face he was so tall and like a work of art
"dino look at that honey at the bar" the dude look over and shrugged
"so but im looking at her man you are everything a man like me needs just the perfect ratio of chocolate and this body you are serving in this outfit let me take you off dave and layla hands and let me show you a good time" he smirked i looked back at dave and his wife she seemed to be fine dave on the other hand was about to go into a fit of rage
"yeah lets go have a good time to celebrate my divorce" i smiled grabbing his hand tay look at me nodding her head in approval i nodded my head towards her with the dude she was with because he was really cute too that night i didnt even get to talk to dave but me and dino talked that whole night until the party was done he even offered to take me to my room tay had left with old dude to get her freak on but i was beat and wanted to rest we pulled up to my hotel i thanked him for dropping me off
"here is my number im going to text you before you go back home i want to link back up"
"that will be a good idea text me and tell me you made it home safe" i told him before walking into the building
