Introduction

"(Y/n), I'm not going to let you bleed out." Jacob said in a terrified voice, holding a cloth tight to my wrist. I felt tears run from my eyes.
I'd hoped he had left already, I hadn't realised that he had stayed where I couldn't see him to make sure I didn't do anything. I hadn't realized he had caught on to my depression today. All we had been doing was studying.
"I'm not allowed to die? Even though I should?" I whisper to him and tears blossom in his own eyes. And he shook his head vigorously.

And the worst part is I have to go to school tomorrow. To face the people I can't stand. The Cullen's, the Hales.
"Hey, hey (Y/n)!? Are you okay?" Jacob asked me anxiously, catching my attention for I had begun to pass out.

"Yes...please just leave me alone." I whisper. It was something I'd never once said to my one and only friend.
"No, I won't leave you alone. I swear I never will." He said, his voice cracking. My aching heart was soothed only a bit by that.
"I'm not worth it.." I whisper, looking at him even though my eyelids weighed heavy.

"You are. And I'll spend my entire life trying to prove it to you." His voice rang with determination. "Now, you're going to the hospital." He says sternly, and lifts me up. But I can barely process that, my thoughts becoming muddled and my heart throbbing painfully in my chest.
"(Y/n), stay awake please, don't fall asleep." He said, panicked.

But I couldn't hear him, as the world around me inside my car slowly
