After the door incident I let Cathy and her son talk. I walk to the kitchen made him a plate and then I made my way up the stairs to my room. It's been about 4 hours since I've been up here and I'm really hungry. I was about to go downstairs when my phone rang.
Caller ID: Drake
I picked up the phone.
Hello?
Hey it's me Drake
So I was thinking maybe we can go for coffee tomorrow
That would be lovely
Ok, I will text you then
Alright, Goodnight
Goodnight, sweet dreams
With that I hung up and did a happy dance. I can't wait, I am having a great turn over in my life. I walk down stairs quietly and saw them laughing and eating. I smiled and her son looked up at me.
"Claire is it?" He asked
I nodded
"Hey, I am Arthur"
We shook hands and I looked at Cathy who still looked shocked
"So, I am just coming down for food please don't let me interpret" I smiled getting my food
"Nonsense please let me meet the woman that helped my mother" Arthur smiled
I looked at him and felt weird with him in the room. But why?
"Are you sure?" I asked
"Yes please" Cathy Insisted
I sat down and started to eat. I didn't care if I look like a hyena but I was really hungry.
" so my mom told me that you bought this house with her" He question
" oh yeah I'm originally from LA but, I came here for a little break with my girls and decided that I wanted to be different in my lifestyle so I stayed here to after your mother" I responded
" wow thank you" he smiled
" the pleasure is all mine" I smiled looking at Cathy
It went quiet. I hate uncomfortable silence.
"So, You know Drake?" I said looking at Cathy
"Yes, the boy you went to see" She smiled
"Yes, He called and we are having coffee" I said
"Wow, Got a date" He said wiggling his brows
"Yes..." I chuckled
We all finished eating and I cleaned up so they could talk. I said my goodnight's and made my way to my room. I need sleep for tomorrow. I Check my phone and sure enough there was a text from Drake and telling me where we were meeting at, and sent okay and set my alarm.
I was on my way to see Drake. It's been a crazy morning. I slept through my alarm, my dryer wasn't working and I couldn't find my lipstick for my outfit so I had to go a different route.

I ran out the door and hurried. Now I am around the corner of the cafe. I check my makeup and walk out. Hurry goes everything, I am opened to anything...I got this... I looked around the quiet cafe and spotted him. I walked with a smile.
"You look beautiful" He smiled
"Thank you" I smiled back
We both order a coffee, Him black with 2 sugar and cream, Mine with 1 sugar and a little bit of mocha cream. We begin talking and laughing then Drake looked like he needed to say something...
"You ok?" I asked
"Well I told you everything as did you but, there's something else" He said quietly
"What?" I asked
"I don't take it wrong, I love this thing so much....I-I" He begin to say..
"It's Ok tell me" I smiled
"When I was young. I was in love with a women" He begin
I knew where this was going...
"We got drunk one night and well my daughter was made" He chuckled nervously "Her mother was scared and left. I got pictures and calls when she was 4 now she is 5. Anyway I see her every now and then but, that's it. She moved recently and last night before I called you her mother called and told me to move with her and now I am so confused to do. I have this beautiful women right here but, I also want to see my daughter more and I have a chance" He ended
"Wow" I begin "You need to go to your daughter"
"What?" He said shocked to my words
"Your kid is more important. This may not work out and then what? You won't get to see your kid. I would have liked to give this a go but, your kid needs you more" I smiled
"Wow, I didn't accept you to say that" He replied
"What did you want me to say?" I asked
"Honestly, I don't know" He thought
"Well, I gotta run and you have a plan to catch" I said standing up
"Thank you" He smiled getting up
We hugged and I could feel his heart beating softly. He was amazing, Why would he give his kid up for someone like me? We said your goodbyes and walked out own ways. I drove to my quiet spot for some air and saw someone there. I walked closer and me being stupid I step on a brunch. The guy started to turn around...ZACH!?
"W-why are you here?" I asked
"Your still here" He stated
"I didn't leave, I moved" I stated
"You'd could have told me" He remarked getting up
"I didn't think I had to" I replied
He looked at my arms which and goosebumps and started to take his jacket off. He drapped it over me.
"You need it" I said starting to take it off
"You need it more" He replied
"Your right I do. I was just trying to be polite" I smiled and went to sit by him
"So how was your date?" He asked
"My date? How did you kno-" I begin but he cut me off
"I came here to see if you would magically be here and you where..." He said looking at the water
"Oh..That...It's didn't work out" I said looking at him
"Sorry" He replied
"Don't be" I told him
"Good, I was just being polite" He chuckled
I laughed to that then stopped fast...HOLD THE BRAKES....
"Why good?" I asked
"Claire, my life is crazy and I want to try things with you but, I don't want you in my crazy life...I want you to be able to be free and not worry. My family isn't really fond of girls that ain't dressed up all the time...but, I don't care...Please let me try but, I am warning you it will have to be private dates and a quiet thing for a while" He explained
I sat there like I wanted to cry but, not cry. I wanted nothing more then to jump up and hugging and tell him yes but, I am not really sure if I want a quiet relationship.
