"I texted that to the wrong person!" Lucy squealed with more frightful tapping. Natsu snorted, contemplating on why he hadn't grabbed the jelly when he first went to the refrigerator. In the end, he pushed the thought aside. Lucy was still tapping the screen like a lunatic. Natsu had just finished putting his sandwich together when Lucy yelled, "He replied! He replied, Natsu!"

"Is this a stranger?" Natsu was waving his sandwich in the air when he said that, only realizing that Lucy wasn't really there and that he looked stupid at the moment.

"Yes! And he's replying again!"

"So you're just going to assume their gender? It's 2018 Lucy, come on!"

The other end of the phone went quiet. A smile crept up Natsu's lips when he heard his friend sigh. She then continued tapping on the screen, acting like nothing happened. The rosette took a bite of his sandwich and made his way to the back door. Looking out the window, he noticed that the area was dark and the sky was full of rain clouds.

"Is it supposed to rain?" asked Natsu, who was looking back at his phone. Lucy, who was no longer tapping, began to tap again to check the weather.

"There is a hundred percent chance of it storming!" Natsu could only nod. He liked it when it stormed. The lightning was beautiful and the thunder was calming. Sometimes. He sighed as the sound of wind began to push against his house. He then left the kitchen and turned on the living room light. Natsu plopped down on his couch with his sandwich and phone in hand. He placed his phone down next to him and grabbed the television remote. The TV clicked and on came a random show.

Natsu laughed as he skipped through channels. It was strange to Lucy. The rosette only did it for fun though. For some odd reason, it made him enjoy life a little more. "Natsu, please stop," Lucy sighed. Natsu kept laughing though, at least until he found his channel and took another bite out of his sandwich.

Lucy was then currently scribbling something in her notebook. She liked to call it "her novel." But Natsu already read half of it after Lucy promised Levy McGarden she would be the first one to read it.

And Lucy never found out yet...

Natsu lifted his phone screen to the upper half of his face. Lucy looked at him weirdly, blowing a blonde strand of hair out of her face. The rosette then began to wiggle his eyebrows. He hadn't intended on making Lucy laugh, and it didn't make her laugh. It only made her cringe.

"Natsu. Stop," Lucy groaned, facepalming. Natsu giggled and pretended to roll his eyes. He made it looked bad on purpose, and Lucy groaned, placing her hand on her phone. Half of Natsu's life was dedicated to annoying Lucy, and it really showed. The blonde looked angry as she watched Natsu laugh at her. Lucy then carried her phone out of her room and walked downstairs, mumbling abouf why she ever became friends with Natsu.

The rosette went back to eating his sandwich while looking out the window. He couldn't see anything due to the rain. And it was so loud. It was as if the wind was trying to knock his house over. "How bad is the storm supposed to get?" Natsu questioned, walking to the window. He watched as a lightning bolt struck down on some random part of town. Thunder soon followed it.

"I dunno, that's why I came downstairs," Lucy grumbled, plopping down on her own couch.

Natsu brought up a chair to the window, looking out as some cars passed by. Zeref should be getting home any moment soon. In fact, he should have gotten off of work well over twenty minutes ago. Natsu sighed, and Lucy didn't say anything. Her father was down there with her, cheering on some sports team.
