Arthit was playing with his fingers, fidgeting. He had thought about this countless times, he even practiced what he was going to say in front of the mirror over and over again, until his mouth went dry.

I guess, they were right, you will never be ready for anything, no matter how much you prepare. Arthit thought as he released a bitter laugh.

Kongpop and Arthit have been dating for 3 years, their relationship was not perfect by any ways, they fought a lot, they were total opposites of each other, but what's beautiful is that at the end of the day, they will always make up. Some might say, they fill each other's gap within, and Arthit loved every bits of their relationship, every nonsensical fight they had that would always end up with them sleeping together cuddled up with each other.

This is, and forever will be the hardest decision that Arthit has made, and one that he will forever regret. It wasn't easy, coming up with this decision, he thought Kongpop will be happy with the news, he has been given an opportunity and he only hoped that his lover would support him.

Kongpop arrived at the restaurant, and sat across from Arthit. Something was off, he noticed Arthit's restlessness, he noticed how silent Arthit was, and this isn't the Arthit he know. "Is there something wrong, Ai'Oon?" Kongpop asked.

'Ai'Oon' I love how he calls me by that nickname, how sweet it sounds coming out from his mouth. How it calms me every single time he calls me.

With all the courage Arthit gathered, he slid an envelope to Kongpop, still avoiding the younger. Kongpop picked the envelope up and read through the letter. It was a letter telling that Arthit will be transferred overseas temporarily, it broke his heart.

"Is this real? Until when?" Kongpop managed to ask.

"They didn't say, it could take months, years, decades,"

"Don't go," Kongpop said sternly, gripping onto the letter hard.

"But Kong, this is a rare opportunity, not everyone has been given this chance."

"So what, P'Arthit? Find a new company, better yet come work for my father's company," Kongpop said.

"Why can't you be happy for me?"

"I can't be happy, P'Arthit! You're leaving me, for god knows how many years! What do you expect me to do? Be happy and send you off, see you leave?" Kongpop said, raising his voice, people inside the restaurant are starting to look at them,

"We can work this ou--"

"Did you even love me? Is the 3 years of relationship that we built really easy to throw away?"

"It's not like that. No, no, no. I need to do this for my parents."

"What do you plan to do, P'Arthit? If you truly did love me, you would be ready to give this up. Are you willing to do so?" Kongpop asked, he was sad and angry at the same time. Arthit just shook his head, Kong putting him in a tight spot was suffocating, and he felt like his airways were being constricted. His breaths were starting to get shallow.

"I—I don't know, I'm sorry Kong," Arthit said, as he stood up from his chair and left the younger.
