Hot Wheels Acceleracers: Gelorums Return

Chapter One

"Vert! Where the hell were you?" Lani asked.

"Yeah, where were you?" Kurt also asked.

"Long story." Vert Said.

"Glad to have you back." Nolo Said.

Porkchop and monkey hugged Vert tight.

"How's Sparky!?" Monkey asked.

"He's um, fine?" Vert Said confused.

"You got to tell us about everything Vert." Lani Said.

"I will, here let's sit." Vert Said.

Vert explained everything, about how his own father works for the Silencers, and how he has to drive for them.

"Wait, so your dad, WORKS for the Silencers?" Kurt asked.

"Yeah, I couldn't believe it at first. I still don't." Vert Said.

"And this whole 'Army' thing is just a coverup?" Lani asked.

"Pretty much." Vert said.

They all talked for a while, and ate.

"Wait, one question, how's the Acceledrone?" Vert asked.

"It, it's gone. It got blown up by Gig." Kurt said.

"What about Dr Tesla? Where's he and Gig?" Vert asked.

Everyone exchanged looks.

"Gig is...dead." Lani Said. "He blew up with the Acceledrone." Lani continued.

Vert couldn't believe it. He sighed and scratched his head.

"Where's Dr Tesla then? Do you know?" Vert asked.

"He's just around the corner getting stuff." Nolo Said.

As soon as Nolo Said that, Dr Tesla walked in.

"Ah Vert! Glad to see you're alright." Dr Tesla Said.

Vert And Tesla hugged, and then sat down.

"I don't want to spoil the fun, but I got some bad news." Dr Tesla Said.

"What bad news?" Kurt said.

"Its a high chance that Gelorum is still alive and out there looking for us." Dr Tesla Said.

"Wait, you don't mean..." Vert Said.

Dr Tesla nodded. Vert sighed. "What are we going to do then?" Lani Said.

"Well, all the Accelechargers are gone, but there might be a Wheel of Power out there." Dr Tesla Said.

"Wait, so that Wheel of Power we had wasn't the only one?" Vert asked.

"I'm afraid not, but that's good. Then we can go after Gelorum and her drones." Dr Tesla Said.

Rain slammed on the windows in the Casino, thunder filled the chatter.

"We won't be going anywhere now, but tomorrow we'll start looking for the Wheel." Dr Tesla said.

"There's Rooms here, we all can get one big one, has enough beds for all of us." Kurt said.

"Good, we'll start looking tomorrow." Vert Said.

After they chatted for a while, they went up to their rooms and ordered take out.

They all wanted Pizza, so that's what they got.

"Make Sure To Get extra Pepperoni!" Monkey Said.

"HELLO!" Sparky said.

Vert chuckled and placed the order.

Vert felt something In his pocket. He was confused since there wasn't anything in there earlier.

Vert pulled it out, and looked at it.

"What is that?" Porkchop asked.

"I dunno. There's a button." Vert Said.

"Well go on, press it." Nolo Said.

Vert pressed it, and green filled up the room.

"Hello...Vert Wheeler. I see you're confused of how this got into your pocket." The voice said.

"Is that?" Lani stuttered.

"Gelorum." Vert Said.

"As you know, I'm alive and angry, and I know what you and the Teku and Maniacs are up to. But you won't get to it before me." Gelorum's hologram said.

"We'll see about that." Vert Said.

"Sweet dreams...Vert." Gelorum's hologram said.

The hologram faded, and everyone was in shock.

"How the hell did Gelorum find out?" Kurt said.

"I don't know, but I don't like it." Vert Said.
