Chapter 1: The Day of Destruction

(Y/N POV)

Long ago, when I was a baby, my planet was destroyed. The planet was named after its ruler, Vegeta. Our planets destroyer was a creature named 'Frieza.' He is also responsible for the death of the planets ruler, King Vegeta, who was killed right in front of the son named after him.

During the final day, parents rushed to put their offspring into pods and sent them to Earth, a safe haven for all mortals. My mother was no exclusion. I never knew her name. She put her locket around my neck, kissed my forehead and waved goodbye after the coordinates were set.

Hundreds of thousands of pods shot into space. Most of the children were killed by either the force of the broken atmosphere, being knocked out of the pod, or simply getting killed on impact of debris.

Only one pad landed on Earth, Kakarots pod. Prince Vegeta was spotted by Frieza after the death of his father. But, my pod survived yet it didn't land on Earth either.

I landed on a unknown planet and was greeted by an unknown race who soon became the only family I've known to this day.... other than him.
