Chapter 1

Alex POV

I was walking to the nearest Starbucks. Work was so tiring. Here I have a passion for song writing but what do I have to do? Computer engineering.

I was just walking when I bumped into some one. Oww. I landed on my butt. What the hell? So embarrassing! I looked up and stared into the most beautiful blue eyes. The guy had been wearing sunglasses but apparently they fell off.

"Oh I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" He said in the most perfect British accent. Wait What the fuck am I thinking? I couldn't just say that about some stranger I just met. But he looked familiar. Way too familiar.

"Oh I'm okay. Thank you." I said as he picked me up. What a gentleman!

"I am so sorry. I was in a rush. Let me treat you to a cup of coffee." He said.

"No it's absolutely fine-"

"No please I insist." He said.

"Okay." I smiled back at him as he placed his hand on the small of my back and guided me into Starbucks.

We ordered our drinks and sat on a table at the way end.
"Hey I just realised we don't even know each other's names!" Louis exclaimed.
"Oh I'm Alex." I said.
"Pleasure to meet you. Im Louis." He said as we grabbed our drinks.

"So what do you do?" Louis asked.

"Well I'm a computer engineer though my heart always lingered around the music career. You know song writing and all that." I said. I usually don't say all this to random people but Louis seemed special. And familiar.

"Oh cool. And do show me some of your songs when you're free." He said giving me a perfect smile.

I observed his looks. Very handsome. Chocolate brown hair, stony blue eyes, amazing cheekbones. He looked at me too.

Louis POV

I observed her face. She was really beautiful. She had the same kind of chocolate hair like mine just with slight blonde highlights. Her eyes were the most beautiful hazel eyes I'd ever seen and she looked so cute when she smiled with the crinkles by her eyes. Wait... I already have a girlfriend. I can't think of Alex like this.

But she looks really familiar. I think ive seen her on the telly before. I decided to shrug it off as I admired her beauty.

"Like what you see?" She asked.
"Woat?" I said surprised. Girls usually don't say that stuff. Shit she must have caught me staring.

Alex just smirked. "Well look whose got sass!" I said playfully.

"Hey I'm the sass master!" She said.
"Whatever you say!" I said raising my hands in surrender.

"Hey I gotta go. Thanks for the coffee. I had a lovely time." She said getting up.

"No problem. Hey wait. Can I have your number. This afternoon has been wonderful." I said.

She smiled giving me her phone as we exchanged numbers.
"Okay bye. I'll text you later." She said as she left.

"Bye." I said.

Alex POV

It's been 1 week since I have spoken to Louis. Talking with him, it felt different. I felt special. I had texted him that day saying 'hi' but he never replied back. I guess he thinks of me just like the others.

Anyways I put my hair back in a messy bun, wore a black shirt and white skirt. I put on black converses and sighed looking into the mirror. I headed out on the cold streets.

I went for work. It's been a few hours now. It's so tiring doing all these calculations.

"Alex can I talk to you for a sec?" My boss said rambling me out of my thoughts.

"Ya wassup James?" I said going into his chamber.

"Well I wanted to talk about your work. Well I have seen that you haven't contributed much to our company for a really long time. I do not appreciate that. You are always in your own world thinking about I don't know what. That's why you are fired." He said coming straight to the point. I froze.

This couldn't be happening. I had promised myself to be successful in life. This is all wrong.

"Umm okay." I said and turned on my heel to leave and pack.

*30 mins later*

So I ran. Ran to the nearest Starbucks. Again. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I really didn't want to waste my life. I suddenly bumped into someone.
"Ouch!" I said.

"Umm sorry." The person said picking me up. I looked up to the see the blue eyes I hadn't seen for a week. Just something was wrong.
