Dedicated to
all the broken people out there who
are gathering their fragmented
selves and trying to recover.

01. What is all this about?

'Opiate' is a collection of poems on all angsty things - one-sided love, loss and grief, struggles with mental illnesses and most of all, drug addiction and recovery.

Most of all, it concerns a person coming to terms with themselves.

02. What trigger warnings apply to Opiate?

Trigger warnings abound here. There's drama and loss and suicidal tendencies at work. Drug use is also mentioned frequently enough, so that's enough of a trigger in itself, I guess.

Tread carefully! Don't dive into the book without thinking!

03. Is there any foul language?

Not really. This is poetry, not a brawl fight.

04. Why aren't you following the lower case trend? You did follow it one of your other works...

I have found out that the lower case trend isn't effortless to follow. Also, this is English and I tend to respect the English language and its rules of capitalisation and punctuation.

05. Is all of the book italicised like this introduction?

Nope!
