Walking through the door of Riverdale High I just moved with my mom and I have a bad case of first day jitters and I have a bad case of anxiety. I held the books close to my chest trying not to make eye contact with anyone when a peppy blonde ponytail walked up to me " Hi, I'm Betty part of the blue and gold I'll be showing you around" she smiled at me I just nodded my head " you don't talk much it's okay Come this way" she said showing me to the office to get my schedule
It's mostly writing classes I'm trying to be and author "And this would be your locker" Betty showed me as a black haired boy and girl walked by " Hi Betty, who's this" the other girl asked "she's a new student (Y/N) this is Veronica and Kevin" I looked at them and gave a slight smile "She doesn't talk much" Betty told them " Well we can change that" Veronica started " V if she doesn't want to talk she doesn't have to" Betty defended me
"But she could have so much to say" Veronica went on Betty having something to say I easily stepped out and walked to class
"UM you two may want to stop you just miss her leave" Kevin said to the two bickering girls looking at Kevin and at the empty space that the girl once was. I walked into class late "You must be the new student" The teacher said as I walked in I shook my head
"Would you like to tell the class who you are" She asked I shook my head no and sat in the back next to a red head boy and Black hair boy they both had a build to them.
"Hi, I'm Reggie I think me and you should go out sometiiime" he stopped smiling and turned back around he must have seen my bag. Great job (Y/N) you scared him with you stupid symbols The red head looked at me and then smiled "Hi I'm Archie"
I made a slight wave and looked back at the board the whole period.
As the bell ran I ran out of class and ran to lunch as I sat outside with My mom's homemade pasta salad and ice tea I pulled out my notebook the one that held all the notes and writing tips I have found over the years and my notebook full of stories poems and fanfictions basically drowing out everyone
"So what do we all think of the new girl" Veronica asked the table "She's real shy" Betty said
"She scared Reggie" Archie said
"How" Veronica asked
"Not sure he was asking her out and his sentence dragged on at the end"he explained
"I mean I would to look at her bag and shoes that's Satanic" Cheryl pointed out to the group as she walked
"I'm sure she's fine Guys" Betty stood up
"Maybe I can get her to talk" Jughead said as he got up
"Jughead be careful" Kevin said as he left the table and sat right across from (Y/N)
I heard a cough as I looked up a black haired boy looked at me he was wearing a beanie
"Forsythe Jones II but you can call me Jughead" he said he looked at my notebooks
"Oh a writer now I see everything" He said making me smile
"I also notice the anti possession and devil's trap" he said
"Ya I'm just a giant Supernatural fan" I said with a smile
"Well then I would like to read some Fanfiction or anything if you like me to, I write in the blue and gold" He told me I smiled and handed him my notebook
"Can I ask you something" He laughed "Sure"
"What is the blue and gold a girl this morning said something but I was to scared to ask" He looked at and then at the table with everyone I had seen this morning and that red haired boy
"Blue and gold is are news paper here at Riverdale" I smiled "You have a newspaper I was in the newspaper back in Greendale" I said. I think I'm going to like it here.
