"Eto...this must be Cross Academy...eto...wasn't someone supposed to be here?"

'That's weird. Kaien Cross said that someone was to pick me up this afternoon...Maybe they're still on their way?'

"Ah! I'm so so sorry for being late!" I just nodded at the blonde spectacled man in front of me. He kept saying sorry but I didn't mind it.

"Eto...are you Kaien Cross?" He stopped apologizing and clear his throat and gave me a smile with blooming flowers and pink background around him.

"Yes! I am Kaien Cross! The headmaster of Cross Academy! You must be K-"

"So when are you letting me in?" He stopped and actually lead me in the academy. He would usually sulk after I speak or rather cut him off everytime I speak which made me wonder why.

'Why is he sulking like a kid whose candy was taken away from them?'

"Ano...was there something wrong that I said Kaien-san?"

"No...there's nothing wrong..." I just sweat dropped since he had anime crocodile tears falling from his eyes fogging his spectacles.

'If there's nothing wrong then why are you crying?' I thought but shrugged it off as I saw a tall building nearby.

"Ano...Kaien-san?"

"Yes my boy?"

"Is that the school building?" He looked forward and then turned to me with a nod and some flower background around him.

'Maybe I should ask some questions and not cut him off this time?'

"Kaien-san. Why did you build this academy?" He ears seemed to have perked up as the flowers in his background bloomed and he was happy.

'He's really childish despite being a strong vampire hunter who was told to be scary.' He seemed to be saying something but I couldn't hear his voice but instead just read his lips. He hasn't noticed that I'm not listening to him, meh.

"And that's why I built thus school!"

"Sōdesu ka."

"Yep! Oh?" 'Hm? He's already wearing glasses but still squints his eyes like that? What's the use of his glasses then?'

"Ah! Zero-kuuuuuuuuuuuun!!" He suddenly went off running, leaving a cloud of dust behind him while I just sigh and carry my stuff with me.

'Why am I even here in the first place? The only thing I remembered was that I was to be sent here because someone wanted me to be some sort of guardian or something.'
