First gym

I start to train in Viridian  forest weedle evolve twice into a beedrill. And I caught a pidgey. I go to Pewter city. I see the gym but I don't go yet instead I ask some trainers in town to battle. The first trainer was a women ad she say it is a two on two battle. She send out a metapod as her first pokemon. So I send out Spearow and I use quick attack and peck to take out the metapod. Her final pokemon was a geodude. So I send out Squirtle. He use water gun three times and geodude fainted. I did some more battles. I than went to the gym and the gym leader was Brock and it was a two on two battle. I send out Spearow and Brock send out geodude. I use use peck and it hit geodude and I say use wing attack but geodude dodge and use rock throw. But I say dodge and use quick attack. It hit geodude and I say use wing attack one more time. It hit and geodude fainted. Brock send out Onix and I return Sparrow. I send out Squirtle and Onix use rock throw and Squirtle dodge it and use water gun. It hit Onix and I say keep using water gun. Onix would use rock throw or stone edge. So with 9 water gun Onix fainted. Brock give me my badge and I left going to the next city.
