Kids who were bullied can't see the world as a nice place to live in. They view it like the school is a monsters' realm, and the playground is a piece of heaven, and so does the television screen. And one thing's worse, their parents who easily gets mad when they get bullied is really not helping the situation. They're scaring their own child. :( But for the kids who think positive or who are well taught, they train how to defend themselves independently or with help. Maybe you'll see them in the park or the playground practicing like a boxer, watching fight scenes in the tube, and usually asking grown men how to fight well. :D Children may grow with fear, but some of them grew fighting the fear and it made them stronger.
Others became violent because they thought that strength is used only for intimidating. :/ Then those who grew with fear was left behind the strong ones. Parents should know what to do about bullying. They should never get mad at their kid when they come home with bruises or broken belongings. No one wants to be yelled at after failing in class or failing in fights. Admit it. If they are teaching their kid how to survive, that will solve the problem. Defending thyself is biblical, though. BUT NEVER KILL ANYONE, unless you're in a war.

Now, about the youngster's interests. 21st century babies seem like worms of the technological advancement because of parenting failures. Children's eyes are not supposed to be exposed too long on the tube, computer, and gadgets. Maybe after a decade of playing on a gadget, their sight might blur. :/
Children from the previous century are obviously healthier because they run, bike, skate, climb trees and bars, play ball, sports, and almost every physical activity. But they always run out of the house, which makes their parents a bit worried. But wouldn't it be better to worry about their development? Technology is harmful for most children because they can't understand everything on the internet unlike young adults 18 and above.

Children from the previous century may also have a better taste for arts and music and notice how do dislike their taste, parents. :D Almost everything back then weren't evil blessed, especially music. Comparing the past and the present, music is an art performed with love and passion, not lewdness with passion. I wonder why some/most parents allow lewd music and fashion enter their children's mind. Or maybe, they themselves don't mind about the lyrics. They just focus on the melody and rhythm. :/

Entering the 5th grade is a really exciting experience for many, including me. Boys will no longer wear shorts but pants in school and girls are allowed to use a little make-up (oh God, why?). D: The lessons may be brand new, or just a wider version of the previous years' lessons. But THIS is a WARNING for parents. Their child might get misled by a classmate or some teenager. Parents should be aware of what their children are doing at that level. They are 10 steps away from the door that would lead to the real world. Every wrong move might be the fuse for an unacceptable surprise in the future. Heh heh heh, trust me. You wouldn't want to see your kid nor sibling grow up nastily. :3
A bit of a kid, a bit of a teenager. That's what they are in 5th and 6th grade. Everything unexplained is a poison, especially Internet. They may still play with toys, but not like the toys they used to play. They may play with airsoft guns or ride their bike a lot faster. So let's keep a sharp eye on them. ;) They will begin to hate some of the things they used to love as a kid, and parents might just feel sad about it.
They embrace change thinking that it's just 3 steps away from being a man. They may no longer always befriend other boys they have met recently, but they might start getting close to girls. This maybe a sign of being gay for some like what most people say and think, but this is a sign that they are learning how to get girls' attention. Oh no, no, no, no, and no... Maybe the teen flicks are affecting the way they think.
Teachers of Good Morals SHOULD EXPLAIN the details of Agape, Philia, and Eros. Those who fail to teach those things might be the culprits for the failing generation of lovers. Schools should be focusing on teaching children about the morals, not just on maths. For if you planted very important infos on 5th and 6th graders, they might most likely live better that you ever were. All these moral problems might be blamed on Morals subject teachers, one day. Either you believe in Heaven or not, you can never use math in afterlife. It's not that someone here hates math, but, haaaah, face the reality.
