Chapter 2

"Oh well damn." Blake breaks the silence, but neither of us moves a single muscle. Aidan is the first one to break the stare, and once he does, I feel like I have been freed, and I don't know what else to do, so I run. I run into my room and I slam the door, lock it, and fling myself onto the bed, curling up into a ball on my side.
"What the hell just happened?!" Blake asks through the mind link.

"I-I don't know I just... I don't know" I reply, and I feel like I'm going crazy.

"Well my brothers walking in circles around his room kicking things into the wall, he's stressed out and won't talk to me. So do you mind telling me?"

"He has the exact same eyes, he smells insanely awesome to me, he's gorgeous, in my opinion of course, your siblings you shouldn't think that way, Blake I think he's my mate." I suck in a deep breath, anticipating her response.

"I knew it!" She yells in victory, hurting my head.

"Owch, keep it down. Your giving me a headache. But what do you mean you knew it?"

"Oh when you were staring at each other I kinda just had the feeling. Get your butt over here my brothers having a freak attack, he thinks your afraid of him or don't like him or something."

"But-"

"No buts!" She yells again, and I sigh, and get up, unlock my door, and walk down the hallway to Aidan's room, knocking on the already open door.

"Jordan! Come here." She says and I walk over to her.

"What do you want?" I ask, my eyes darting back and forth between a pacing Aidan and Blake.

"Say your sorry."

"For what?"

"For running away."

"But why?"

"Because it's not nice to run away from your new-found mate. And because he's not going to talk to me until you solve this. Now start sorting out your problems!" She leaves the room, closing the door behind her. Classy. I try to leave, but when I open the door, Blake is standing guard, and just shakes her head at me. I close the door, and turn to face Aidan, who has stopped pacing and is staring again.

"I, uhm, I'm sorry, I'm Jordan and, uh, I think I saw you in my-" he motions for me to stop talking, so I do.

"I know, Jordan." He says, and crosses the room and gives me a hug, I don't know him, but it feels so right to be in his arms. "All I want to know is why you kept me waiting for so long." I hear him smirk, and he lets go of me, but keeps a hold on my hand.

"Not my choice, trust me." I smile up at him. He's a good few inches taller than me, exactly how I would picture it.

"Do you want to go on a walk with me? We can talk and get to know each other better, without my sister eavesdropping." He says the last part a little louder, to make sure Blake heard it.

"Hey look, I have no promises that I won't follow you out on your walk!" She yells through the door, making me laugh, and I nod to him, agreeing on the walk.

"Okay, follow me." He whispers in my ear, and he walks over to the window, very quietly opening it, and hopping out. He holds his arms up, waiting for me to jump into them, and so I do, and he catches me, of course. He sets me down on the ground, and he takes my hand again. Aidan leads us out away from the house and into the woods.
