Walking out the doors with my team we were immediately swarmed by screaming fans, celebrating our win.
"TEAM VULCAN I LOVE YOU!"
"G/N YOUR AMAZING"
"G/N PLEASE SIGN MY BOOBS"
The last one made me blush which caused all of the girls to "awww" and my team to start laughing. Walking into the limousine we all sat down and poured a glass of Pepsi, fully taking in what just happened.
"so who's going to go to team rainbow for 2 weeks?" I asked, starting the conversation.
"oh I think you know Y/N" said one of my team mates
"you know I get nervous around girls and half of team rainbow is female, I'd just embarrass myself"
"exactly, plus you need to get over your nervousness around girls. The closest you've come to talking to a girl without stuttering is by talking to dave" said a second teammate
"what?" asked the person in question
"you've got man boobs"
"alright get here you cunt"
Everyone was laughing as they started to wrestle each other, hopefully in a joking way.
"but seriously Y/N, you deserve to go. We wouldn't have won if it weren't for you, plus you'll mostly be around the guys so you don't have to worry about that." said james
"... Fine" I unwilling replied
"good, now let's enjoy some takeout and do a live stream"

Helicopter
Sitting on a helicopter with my luggage I was nodding along to the music that was fed through my headphones, my heart beating faster than usual. While I was nervous about the girls, obviously, I was also worried about the guys, what if they didn't like me? What if they thought I was just some nerd who shouldn't be there? Well... I guess I am really. The shaking of the helicopter touching the ground snapped me from my thoughts and I stood up with my bags, heading towards the open door. First thing that I noticed was the ice cold air that stabbed at my skin like needles and the dark cloudy sky that lay above the base, making it more like a place of horror which only furthered my nervousness. The second thing I noticed was the hulking figure of a tall man with a sledge hammer, wearing a mask which made him an intimidating person to approach. Already knowing from the sledge hammer who it was I just decided to be formal to make a good impression, I don't know what impression n3rd has left on them. Shakily walking up to him I stared him directly in the eyes and held out my hand while saying
"hello sir, the names y/n and I'm going to be staying here for the next 2 weeks"
Glaring into my eyes sledge held a very heavy, very tense atmosphere until it suddenly dissapeared and he smiled, looking more like a jolly giant rather than a pissed off one.
"call me sledge kid, I'm not having any of that sir shit. But don't get me wrong its good to see a kid with respect, much different than the last one" he boomed
"n3rd? He's known to be a cunt and thankyou sledge"
"no problem kid but let's go inside, it's fucking freezing out here"
"ye... But That's the great mystery of Britain, the weather is always shit"
"*chuckle* fair point kid, by the way I suggest addressing each operator as sir or miss unless told otherwise because that n3rd guy left a bad impression"
"yes si- I mean sledge"

Walking through the doors I was thankfully hit by warm air, which caused me to unknowingly let out a sigh of relief. Examining the lobby the first thing I noticed was the excessive amount of warm air blowers, presumably to combat the freezing air outside.

"I hope there will be no problems during your stay, mainly due to the hectic operators not you, though I'm not excluding you kid."
"there may be a teensy weensy problem" I nervously said
"kid.. What. Do. You. Mean" sledge said, his jolly attitude replaced by a serious tone.
"well you see... When I'm around girls I ge-"
"yo sledge is this the kid?" asked a ginger girl, interrupting me. This was ash... Oh no, this is going to be embarrassing.
"ye, his name is y/n, I'm guessing you know Ash?" sledge asked
"y-ye o-of course, s-s-she's the most w-well known o-operator in the g-game" I stuttered, blood rushing to my cheeks.
"*giggle* aww thanks cutie" said ash, a cu- I mean a smile on her face. Fuck it I'm not gonna dodge it she's pretty cute in real life which was only making my blush worse.
"well y/n, your blush is redder than my hair. Your just adorable, anyway I've got to go so c ya later" and with that she was gone, leaving me a blushing mess.
"hahaha your nervous around girls?" sledge asked
"*sigh* ye, it's really embarrassing but the female fans seem to love it and find it 'adorable' " I replied, my cheeks going back to normal.
"well I guess we should go to the cafeteria, six Is waiting for us so she can say something important" sledge said, calming down
"alright then, lead the way"
