Rose's Turn

Chapter 7

"So instead of just texting me a picture, you wanna take me there in person?" Rose asked when Emma arrived home.

"Yes. It's a lot morecomplicated though." Emma responded

"How?"

"I can't say."

"Can you show?"

"Um...yeah, but I don't think you'll believe."

"Try me."

"Ok"

Emma reached out her hand and then placed Rose on the ceiling.

"Woah, you have magic?!" Rose shouted

"Wait, you believe in magic?" Emma asked placing Rose back on her bed

"Well, yeah. Once I saw a girl drawn power from a hero and use it."

"Do you know what power?"

"Hmm... oh yeah, water."

Emma turned pale. This "girl" must be a villian the girls will have to face. She plans on asking some question when she meets Crystal tomorrow.

The girls rested and then headed to school. Emma went through every morning routine. However, with the help of her new found powers, things went faster than normal. Then she was on her way with Rose to the castle.

"Hey guys." Kat said as the two sisters walked up to the castle.

"Where's Val?" Emma asked

"Oh, she's inside with Evelyn tra-," Kat hesitated as Rose got closer. She looked at Emma who gave her gave her an approving nod," Training on her magic."

"This is so cool. Magic being real and all. Wait, I still don't know why I'm here." Rose looked at Emma.

"You still didn't tell her?!" Kat yelled shocked

"Tell me what?" Rose asked

"I didn't want to be the one to say." Emma answered back

"Say what?" Rose asked again

"Your her older sister! You have to be the one to tell her!" Kat yelled.

"Tell me what?" Rose asked

"I can't tell her. I just can't!" Emma said back

"TELL ME WHAT?" Rose was impatience and yelled to get attention from the girls.

"Well, Emma. Gonna tell her?" Kat gave Emma a look

"Ugh, fine. Rose the reason your here is because we think your the fourth element." Emma said

"What?! I have powers!" Rose screamed

"Woah,woah there firecracker. We said maybe." Kat said playing with her fire.

"Wow, you have fire power?" Rose ran over to watch Kat's little fire show.

"Yeah, cool right." Kat said making small fireworks.

"Come on. Let's go inside and get this test over with." Emma said opening the door

"Wait, I have to take a test?!" Rose said panicking

"Don't worry. It's an element test, not a school test." Kat said heading inside

"Oh thank God," Rose said walking towards the door,"Otherwise, I would be fucked!"

"Me too!" Kat said laughing

"Hey, I know that laugh." Max said coming out of the living room

"Max, hey!" Kat ran towards Max and gave a high five. They have created a brother-sister relationship.

"Hey, wanna train. I can show you how to create a ring of fire." Max said

"Really?! Good. Now I can put you in one." Kat said lauging and heading to the practice room with Max.

Emma watched as Max and Kat were out of sight to tell Rose what was going. Then she took her to the living room.

"Wow, that's a big fireplace." Rose said sitting down

"Listen Rose. If your not it, then they will erase your mind and my powers will be secret to you." Emma said seriously.

"What?! Oh, Emma!," Rose said running to give a hug to her sister," It's ok. I'm willing to take my chance. For you and your friends."

Emma smilied at this and so did her sister. They sat with each other for sometime. Emma showed Rose the tricks she could do to pass the time.

"Is this your sister?" a voice said from the door way.

Emma and Rose turned to see Crystal hunched up by the door. She began walking over and sat across from Rose, examing her.

"Yes, this her." Emma said standing up. Rose did too

"Hello, Rose. I'm Crystal. The air mentor." Crystal said shaking Rose's hand

"So, your Emma's mentor? Where's mine?"

"Behind you." Rose turned to see Moreen sitting by the fireplace

"Moreen, please don't scare my sister like that." Emma said

"Your Emma's sister,huh? Well, how about we began this test?" Moreen said

"Um... ok. Let's go." Rose said walking towards Moreen

"Wait." Emma said grabbing Rose's wrist.

"What is it?" Rose asked

"I wanna come with you." Emma said

"Sorry but you can not. It will distract her from the task." Moreen said

"Your lying. Your just saying that cause you want me to be away from my sister. You don't know what it is like to love." Emma yelled at Moreen. Moreen's eyes widened then shrunk to hide tears

"Emma. What she speaks is truth. You aren't allowed to go. It is forbiden bv law." Crystal said trying to confort Moreen

"What law?" Emma said mad

"I can't tell you yet. Rose go with Moreen to prove you are worthy of water." Crystal ordered and Rose nodded.

Rose followed Moreen to a door that was made entirly of water! It had appeared out of nowhere! And just as mysterious as it appeared it disappeared with Rose and Moreen

Emma sat down to wait for her sister's return and was joined by Crystal. Crystal gave Emma a hug for reassurance

"She's going to be fine. Trust me." Crystal said

"Your sure."

"Sure"

"OK."

"Let's go train. I can teach you how to create tornados and hurricanes."

"Really?! Sounds cool."

Emma followed Crystal to the air practice room, where she studied hard on making tornadoes. She started small and then made it bigger and bigger. Before long she had it down, and was learning other things as well. They helped occupied her mind from Rose.
