Chapter 41

"Thank you eomonim."

"Come on, I'll show you to your room." Ahjumma said and they went upstairs.

The room is just slightly smaller than Chaeyoung's (with no walk-in closet just a huge cabinet). It has it's own bathroom as well. It has one window, which is beside the bed with pink curtains. 

"Wow, it's very clean." Mina said as soon as they entered.

Ahjumma just smiled. "Of course, Agassi made sure that you'll be comfortable."

"Oh by the way Ahjumma, Mrs. Son said before that one of your family members is sick that's why you were on leave. Is the situation all better now?" Mina asked. 

"Yes, my sister is recovering now. Good thing that my brother's wife visited and volunteered that she'll take care of her until she gets better."

"Aah. That's good to hear." 

"You seem very sweet and nice." Ahjumma smiled. "No wonder agassi likes you." She added in a low voice.

"Ye? Sorry what's that again?" She asked as it was unclear.

"Ah, nothing." Ahjumma chuckled. "I'll get going now, I still need to prepare dinner."

"I'll help you." Mina offered.

"No need. I can handle it but thank you for the offer. Just unpack your things and rest. Call me if you need anything okay?"

"Oh ok." Mina then started organizing her things. After, she dialed Chaeng but there was no answer.

"Maybe she's still on her training." She told herself. She just sent her a text message instead.

'Just got home. I already met Ahjumma, she's very nice. Call me once you're done.' -Mina

Tired and stressed with her encounter with Momo, she decided to take a quick nap.

Knock knock..knock knock..

There was no answer. The door slowly opened as someone went inside.

"Aigoo, she's sleeping." 

Mina opened her eyes as she heard the voice. She rubbed her eyes and saw Chaeng standing by the door. 

"You just arrived?" She asked.

"Yeah. I saw your text so I called you when I was on my way but you didn't answer. Turns out you were sleeping." Chaeng replied. 

Mina scratched her head. "I just laid down to rest for a bit but then I fell asleep." She checked her phone and saw 3 missed calls and 5 sms. "Sorry if I missed your calls." Then she noticed the time. "It's now 8pm, do you finish training this late everyday?"

"Only when there's an upcoming competition. We train hard as much as possible to condition our bodies."

"So that means you'll come home late everyday until Friday." Mina sighed.

Chaeng smirked. "You miss me already?"

"Huh? N—no. What are you saying?" Mina blushed. "It's just that, I'm not used going home without you."
