Well, we had lunch every day by ourselves just like normal, except today felt very different. I looked around the room and didn't see anything that seemed weird, except that was when a new person I never met walked towards me and Ian. It got even weirder and they sat next to us and introduced themselves as Ashley. We got talking and she was actually a pretty normal person to be sitting by us.
"Oh look the new kid is sitting next to the outcasts so surprising," said guy when he walked past us. We all ignored it, but then it came to be more and more people putting us in the shadows and that's when Ashley had enough. She stood up and yelled, "The next person to say a rude comment to me and my friends Chase and Ian are getting a beating of a lifetime." I never felt happier in my life and felt like I actually could have people on my back other than just Ian.
The next day we sat with each other actually at a table for the first time this year, and I never thought I would have that feeling in my lifetime. This year actually seemed like it would have a positive take rather than the negative one I figured it would be.
