I wake up at 7:10 am and get ready for school. After I finished dressing up, a notification appears on my lock screen. Curiously, i pick up my phone and read the text. "Hey, don't forget to bring my purse I forgot! Luv ya and see you at school xox." The text is from my best friend Gabby. I smile as my eyes scan the text and laugh. I quickly text her back saying "Okay! Cya at school Gabby xox" and stuff my phone in my pocket. I run downstairs and grab my breakfast. "What's the rush, Alessia?" My mum asks. "MUM! stop scaring me like that!" I sigh. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, but why are you leaving so early?" "Mum I'm always late and I just want to be early for one day!" I reply. "Okay darling, I'll see you after school." she smiles. "Bye mum, love you!" I say as I put on my sneakers. I run out of the door and into the fresh air. Sometimes, it's nice to just feel the air.
I arrive at school, surprisingly early. At the school entrance I see Gabby. We both make eye contact and start running into each other. "alEssiA!" she laughs. "GaBbY!" Gabby lets go off me. "Did you hear there's a new girl joining?" "No? What's her name." I ask curiously. "I'm pretty sure it's Cassi, something like that." She laughs. "Haha. I bet she's really nicee" I say. "I agree." Gabby answers. "Lets go to class before Mr Grunge moans again." I suggest. "Sureee lesgo" she agreed.
