The sun rises
You see the glow seeping the cracks
You are joyed to see it
It's out; it's bright and calming
It greets you with a blinding light

The sun is your friend, your companion
You noticed it dimmed
You asked if its okay
It then brightened up more; it's a yes then, you thought

You're on the bench eating ice cream
A few licks later your ice cream melted
The sun dimmed its rays of light
You tell the sun its not its fault
The rays brightened but you can hardly see the change

You went to the beach and sat on the sand
You felt the wind blow through your hair
The sun brightened up; you feel your skin burn
You rushed to the sea and splashed some water to ease the pain
The sun dimmed

You noticed it's darker than usual
You asked the sun if it's okay
It got dimmer
You asked the sun why is it down
The sun didn't reply

The sun is now setting
You waved it goodbye
The sun waved with its rays
Before it had set, a ray caresses your skin
The heat felt nice; you smiled

It's the next day
You waited for the sun to rise
You expected to see its glow emerge
You worry, the sun should've risen by now
You checked your watch; it read 7 am

You were determined
You were confused
You were worried
You were asking it to come out
But it never came

You looked up
The moon isn't glowing
In fact it's barely visible
The stars were the only source of light
You colapsed on the floor

The sun is losing light
The sun was dim
The sun is giving up
The sun is accepting the dark
Its last thoughts were your smile; The only reason it glowed
