Hey, I have a question for you as a writer! How did you make the most of the Wattpad feature?
TL:DR: It all comes down to title, cover, and blurb. Almost every story has these elements, but are yours better than the rest? Being featured on Wattpad dramatically increases the number of readers who "see" your story, but not those who "read" your story.
You can think of featuring as a free advertisement. From the perspective of a reader, if the first impression doesn't catch their eye then they'll just ignore it. Think of all the times you've done that yourself, internet shopping for instance?
The same applies for books. First impressions are everything.
