Getting Distracted

I've been super distracted for the past 2 hours. Why have I been distracted, you may ask? It's because Jaehee left to go meet up with Jumin to talk about expanding our coffee shop business and left me alone to do my college homework and to get other work done. My mind, however, was on Jaehee and Jaehee only. I missed her, even if she's been gone for 2 hours. My werewolf tails and ears popped out, and as usual, I started whining. When Jaehee leaves, I'm like a puppy in a cage waiting for an owner to let me out. I was trying to focus on school and other stuff, but the loud, crashing, eerie thunder scared me and made me on edge and unfocused. I couldn't help it. I HAD to call someone. ANYONE. I decided to grab my phone and entered the RFA chatroom. Surprisingly enough, Zen, Yoosung, and 707 were in a chatroom together. I decided to join the room while waiting for Jaehee to come back.

"Hey Zen. Practicing lines again?"

"No, I just came back from a run. It's pretty sunny for me today."

"Luckyyyy. I wish it was sunny. It's been raining all day for me. MC, shouldn't you be doing homework?"

"707 is here! I just got back from work lolol."

"well. Yeah, I should be doing homework, but Jaehee is on my mind and I'm worried..."

"Jaehee is fine. She texted me saying she's soaking wet, but she'll be home soon."

"Any werewolf would be worried. They have the brain of a dog."

What 707 just said may be true, but we have control...sometimes. The way he said it in chat made anger light up in me. It seemed as if he was trying to say that werewolves are useless, which isn't true. The chat continued as I tried to say something to seven in front of the rest, but I couldn't. I'll have to Direct Message him later to see why he said it like that, but for now, I'll let it go. I spent 45 minutes with the rest until Yoousung went to go play LOLOL and Zen went to go practice his lines. Seven and I were the only ones left. The time to confront him was now or never.

"Seven, I have a question."

"What is it?"

"The way you said that werewolves have the brain of a dog, did you mean that in an offensive way?"

"I mean....sort of? I was just saying that werewolves have actions of dogs. even though I've never had a dog myself, since Elly is my one true love, I've seen enough dogs to know that you, a werewolf, have some actions of dogs. If I meant that in a bad way, I'm sorry..."

"It's fine. Just wanted you to clear that up. I have to go try and do homework and answer e-mails for the next party. I'll see you later. Bye."

With that last sentence, not even waiting for Seven to say bye, I left. I finished answering e-mails for the next party, answering ideas and problems about my game, and seeing what commissions were waiting. I still couldn't focus on my homework and asked my professor if I could get an extension. I have leeway when it comes to getting homework done, since I am part of the RFA and being top rank in the coffee shop business. My phone was buzzing, getting a message from Jaehee, I immediately picked it up, my tail furiously wagging back and forth on the couch.

"I'll be home in 30 minutes. Soaking wet, so I'll take a shower when I get home. Afterwards, I'll cuddle and snuggle with you while we watch a movie ;)"

The emoji she used at the end made a blush rise across my checks. My mind went blank and my body went in a paralyzed state. I went to quickly finish my homework, wasting no time. With 10 minutes left after doing homework, I grabbed my phone and watched a few other videos until Jaehee came home.
