Chapter 2

"Why don't I make fwiends?" Noah asked me

Justin's POV:
"You're just shy kiddo, you'll soon make friends" I said trying to make him feel better
"None of the others even spoke to me" He said tearing up
I pulled him close and he sobbed quietly
"Come on, don't cry" I said to him softly
He sniffled and stopped crying with his head laid in my chest
"Do you wanna stay home with daddy tomorrow?" I asked him
He nodded
Later we went to bed, he snuggled up into my chest and soon fell asleep...

The next morning
I got up whilst Noah was still sleeping and called the day care:
"Hello?"
"Hi can I speak to Caitlin?" I asked
"Sure, i'll get her" The voice replied
"Hello?" Caitlin spoke
"Hey, um its Justin"
"Hey what's up?" She asked
"Um, Noah's not gonna be in today, he got quite upset after yesterday and well, I'm not at work today so..." I trailed off
"That's fine" She replied
"Ok thanks" I smiled and we hung up

Caitlin's POV:
It got to 4pm and all the kids had gone home
Mackenzie and I headed back to my place

"Hey" I smiled hugging Derek, my ex-boyfriend
He was here whilst I was working, he was looking after our 3 month old daughter, Lexi
"Hey, how was work?" He smiled
"It was good" I smiled back "How was Lexi?"
"She was an angel all day" He smiled
You see, Derek and I are still good friends, we broke up after Lexi was born but he still sees her everyday
He has a new girlfriend, Kailey, and she adores Lexi
Mackenzie went upstairs, probably to Lexi's room, and came back downstairs with Lexi in her arms
Lexi reached out for me and I took her from Mackenzie
I kissed Lexi's forehead and she giggled
"I better get going" Mackenzie smiled
She kissed Lexi's forehead and I waved Lexi's tiny hand
"Say bye aunt Mackenzie" I said in a baby voice
Mackenzie left and I sat Lexi in her highchair as I prepared her dinner
There was a knock at the door, I answered it to see Kailey
"Hey" I smiled "Come on in"
"Is Derek here?" She asked
"He sure is" I smiled
We both went into the kitchen and Derek was feeding Lexi her dinner whilst making funny faces
Me and Kailey smiled
"Hey Kailey" He smiled
"Hey, just came to see if you were ready for our date tonight"
His eyes widened "Dammit, I completely forgot, come on, legs go now" He replied
"No, its fine" Kailey smiled "You can't just leave half way through feeding Lexi"
"Do the two of you want to stay here for dinner?" I asked
"Sure" They both smiled
I made dinner and we all sat down to eat
"You're not gonna believe it, we had Justin Bieber in the other day" I said to make conversation
"He's a dad?" Derek asked
"No, it was his cousin he brought" I lied
"Oh cool"

My phone rang:
"Hello?" I answered
"Its Justin"
"Hey what's up?" I asked
"Is the day care still open?" He asked
"No, sorry, everything ok?"
"I just needed someone to watch Noah and my mom's working late
"You could bring him here" I suggested
"So long as its no trouble"
"Of course not"
"Its just I don't wanna take him to anyone else because all morning he was telling me how nice you were and how you didn't leave him out and stuff"
"Aww, he's a sweetheart, sure bring him over, i'll text you my address"

Derek and Kailey left and Justin soon turned up with Noah, as he knocked on the door Lexi started crying, I ran upstairs, calmed her down and took her downstairs answering the door
"Hey come on in" I smiled
Justin came in and placed Noah down on the ground "I'm sorry to have to do this"
"Its fine, he can keep me and Lexi company" I smiled kissing her forehead as she was now asleep in my arms
Justin smiled "She yours?" He asked
"Yeah" I smiled
"Noah, be good ok?"
Noah nodded "Hi Caitlin" He smiled
Justin smiled "Thanks again, I'll be back later"
"Yeah its fine, I don't mind"
Justin left and Noah looked up at me "She's cute, what's her name?"
"Lexi, you wanna go in the living room and play with her?"
He nodded eagerly
I smiled and he followed me into the living room
I put Lexi, who was now awake, down on the floor and he started playing with her toys with her

Hours passed and Justin got back
I let him in:
"Where's Noah?" He asked
"Upstairs, he fell asleep so I put him in my bed"
Justin smiled
"Do you want a hot chocolate?" I asked him
"Yeah sure" He smiled
I went into the kitchen and made our drinks
"How old is Lexi?" He asked as we sat drinking our hot chocolate
"3 months old" I smiled
"Is her dad around?" He asked
"Her dad doesn't live with us, he's kinda my ex-boyfriend, but he still looks after her while I'm working and we're good friends"
Justin nodded
"So what's Noah like at home?" I asked
Justin smiled "He mostly runs around, yelling, but when it comes to making friends he struggles"
"He was great with Lexi today" I smiled
"I'm glad he behaved"

Noah then came downstairs, "Daddy!" He yelled running and hugging Justin
"Hey buddy" Justin smiled
"I left my teddy bear upstairs" Noah said leaving the room to go get it
"You guys are really close huh?" I smiled
"Yeah, he's my world" Justin smiled

Later they were leaving and Noah leant down and kissed Lexi's forehead
Me and Justin smiled
They then left and it was getting late so I put Lexi to bed and then headed to bed myself...
