(YN) POV
After a month or so, I made it to Mars. I've only spent about a week on Mars and it was kinda hard. All the hotels I've passed by looked really sketchy.
Looking for some more food, I walked into a little shop a girl with ash brown hair stood behind the counter.
"Welcome" she said as I smiled back at her. I grabbed a few granola bars and bottled water, and headed to the counter.
A few moments later two men walked. They had CGS jackets on. I've heard of them, they usually hired kids to do work. In exchange they're given food and somewhere to sleep.
"The CGS, maybe that could work" I mumbled to myself
"If you're trying to work for the CGS it won't happen" the girl behind the counter said
"Huh?! Why not?"
"They don't hire women." She stated. Well that's just sexist
"Well I guess I'll have to be very persuasive"
"If that doesn't work out, you can always come back here to work" she said sweetly
"Thanks for the offer, I'm (YN) by the way"
"Atra" I waved at her as I walked out the store and followed behind the two CGS workers
"Excuse me" I called out to them.
"What do you want kid" Guy 1 said
"Um...I'm was wondering if I could possibly get a job at the CGS"
They looked at each other before speaking
"We don't hire little girls"
They both laughed as they walked off. I hated to pull this card out it looks like I'm gonna have to
"Do you know who I am"
"Should we?" Guy 2 asked very irritable
"I don't know, have you heard of the (LN) family"
"Fuck no-"
"Holy shit are you serious" Guy 2 cut off his partner "They're fucking loaded"
"How can we believe her" they both looked at me with a bit of skepticism
I pulled out my family ring with our crest on it. It was a family heirloom that's passed down for Father to som. But as you know, I'm the only child. The two mean looked at it closely.
"Holy shit it's real" they both said I'm shock
"So about that job" I smirked
"Get in the truck" they quickly said
I sat in the back of the truck for maybe twenty long minutes. Bumpiest car ride I've ever had in my life.
Once the truck stopped I got out and led into what looked like an office. There were a few others inside but the boss seemed to be the fat guy behind the desk.
