The sky (celestial dome): the region of the atmosphere and outer space seen from earth.

The sky is apart of our everyday lives, it's so simple but it's such a beautiful aspect. The sky seems miles away from us but it appears so magical as if it possesses the power of a thousand mighty gods. The sky constantly changes and it's never the same. It can be happy and peaceful or roar with the power of thunder and rain. It can turn a multitude of colours such as red, orange, purple and yellow.

Here's an example of how truly amazing the sky is. The sky can begin as a baby blue but at the end of the day when the sun starts to set, the blue will transition to a soft violet colour. The clouds will look like cotton candy and then suddenly, the soft colours of the sky will burst into flames of red-orange. At this moment, that is how you feel. You feel like you're bursting with flames, so full of energy. Soon, the shades of orange will calm down again back into indigo while getting darker and darker. When the sun goes to rest past the hills, it leaves the world behind in a shadow that leads you to a million other thoughts. Your body is casted in this darkness and you are whole. Then you look upwards into the vault of heaven and realize the first of the stars appear and twinkle as if they're trying to say hello.

Skies are a thing of beauty.
