A/N : the chapters get longer starting after chapter three.
Hi, I'm Autumn, your not so average twenty-two year old male adult.

My deafening alarm had woke me from my sleep, telling me it was time to get dressed.

I entered my closet and grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I put on my shoes and jacket, grabbed my keys, and walked out of the door with more speed in my step than usual at twenty-till.

The arctic air smothered my warm body as I exited the comfort of my apartment. Looking around,  I couldn't help but think how New York traffic was, an always will be, a pain in the ass. Thankfully my best friend, Ivy, had a car and always drove me to work so I didn't have to deal with the hassle of catching a cab.

As I entered the car I couldn't help but admire my best friends beauty.

Her jet black hair cascaded down her back like it always did but I'd never get tired of it. The green flakes in her hazel eyes always shined, and I was personally jealous of the inch of height she had over me. She was around 5'8 and had an amazing body that she showed off every chance she got, while I was 5'7. In spirit and style, we were a match, though.

"Good morning!" She enthusiastically shouted, handing me a latte.

"Morning. I am so tired. I stayed up all night finishing my presentation for the board meeting today." I announced as I took my latte and entered the largely shaped SUV.

"Well, I'm sure it turned out." She said knowing it would lighten me up.

You see, Ivy and I have been best friends since the second grade. She always stood up for me and protected me from the monsters that lurked at our school. She was just always there for me no matter what and we just clicked and since then we've never left each other's side.

I was pulled from my thoughts as the driver had opened my door indicating we had arrived. I gave Ivy a quick kiss and was on my way into the building when I crashed into some man, spilling his coffee all on his very expensive looking suit.

"I am so so so sorry, I wasn't paying att-" I was cut of by the excruciating yell of the man I ran into.

"This is a three thousand dollar suit! Do you know who the fuck I am?!?." He yelled with anger clear in his eyes and voice.

"Okay first of all, you self centered prick, what you're not gonna do is yell at me over an accident. Second of all, I do not know who you are, and quite frankly I don't care. My name's Autumn Reed, send me the cleaning bill, you ass." I said with so much force it scared me. I quickly walked away, giving him no chance to reply.

I could feel his eyes burning holes in my skin as I entered the building.

"Reed! Where have you been!?! You're late." My boss, Miranda, said as I set my bag down.

"I'm sorry I ran into some douche and I had to shut that down. I apologize." I said with a hint of aggravation in my voice.

"Well get in my office so I can catch you up on what you missed." She said while walking away.

"Okay I'm coming." I said as a follow her into her office expecting good news.

K and Ash: Welcome. We're really excited to be writing this. We've never written a book, or co-written, but we're gonna try. First few chapter's might be short, but it gets longer. Thanks for reading, guys. We really appreciate it. We update pretty much whenever we finish writing the chapter, really. Enjoy!
