The sun seemed to shine bright on his side of the bed . The birds seemed to sing louder in his direction and to some people that was the start of the best day ever but to Eli it wasn't .IT was the happy song that the birds sung that had him gloomy , it was the sun that was brighter in the month of June that had him so depressed it was the day that it was. Hell , the week that he was going through seemed to just kill the mood . Drained every once of dopamine that his boy could even think about giving off. " Eli get out of bed honey !" His 'supporting' mother yells from the kitchen . See his mother is a bit of a understanding bird but she can be a little forgetful sometimes and it mostly when she really needs to remember
Eli Leo once Elizabeth Leo was a transgender , Female to male , and he is just staring the transition and its been hard on everyone but not as hard as it has been on Eli.His mother supports him but his father doesn't which leads to the arguments and Eli's usual run to the garage or down to his brother from another mother Jason Carson . His classes aren't any better. School is a total shit hole and so is the girl he likes . She's his best friend but this is a love kinda shit . The others not so much . Eli has moved throughout the years about 13 times . His Father getting a promotion or his mother meeting family there who's a 'bad influence in Eli's life' All this changes because the new town they just moved to get's to only know him as a boy and not a half boy or a freak just ELI not Lizzy or Elizabeth .

He just lays there . Not moving , just breathing . His eyes up at the night sky he created in his room to make the monsters go away back when he was eleven. His safe house in his head , his clam river in the storm of madness but that thought was washed away as his mother opened the door "mother" his sarcastic tone burning her alive , he hoped. "Everyone is eating breakfast together so freshen up and get down here " a roll of light brown eyes came after " you see mother , what you don't comprehend in that tiny little brain of yours is that i don't like half these people down there and nor will i ever so eating with them will only piss them off and send me deeper into my island of insane " Eli's face turned to his raging mother at his door . " Eliza- i mean Eli wash up and get down with the rest of your family ." And with that she left the door open " you could at least close my door " he said quietly .
