'What was that?!'

"But I like it here," he croaked, more tears falling from his rosy cheeks. Kenji put on a sad face as well, his vision becoming blurry.

All of a sudden, the boys broke out into loud sobs, gasping for breath every now and then. Ayaka and Naomi grimaced, patting their backs gingerly - not Naomi, she was still driving, still surprised at their reaction. She was not expecting that at all!

"But don't you want to go back to your mummy and daddy?" Naomi asked, taken aback.

"My mummy is boring! I wanna stay with you!" Aki piped up, wiping his nose with the sleeve of his top. Chiaso was, in fact, boring in his eyes. They barely went anywhere fun, and she always had errands to run, and either she'd leave him with a rude, snobbish babysitter, or take him with her to some boring place. And somehow, being here with the girls, made him feel strangely happy.

"Yeah!" Kenji agreed, smiling a toothy grin at Nana who smiled back. "Who needs a mom? Moms are boring, and they lie to us. She lied to me about the tooth fairy!" He crossed his arms, and huffed. "What kind of freak takes some kid's rotten tooth?"

"She probably makes teeth necklaces!" Aki said with a giggle. "And eats them with tooth paste and baking soda!" Nana snickered at this, along with her sister and Kenji.

"Well, I guess a little bit wouldn't hurt..." Ayaka contemplated on whether to take them back or not. If she kept them, then that would only make people think that they took them purpose, and not on accident. But then again, they already stole one of the boys' mother's car, so they're already at the party.

"YAY!" The boys cheered in unison, grabbing Ayaka by the waist and hugging her tight. She laughed, running her fingers through their hair. She shared the same feeling with Aki, they somehow cheered her up. Maybe letting them stay wouldn't be so bad after all. Besides, it's not really kidnapping if they actually want to go with you, now is it?

"Ok, I guess you can stay then!"

"I'm hungry!" Kenji complained, rubbing his stomach as it growled, agreeing with him. He was hungry a lot of the time, and Ayumi always reminded him whenever he raged over food. But this time, he was actually really hungry.

"Me too," Aki said, listening to the growls his tummy was making also. Chiaso had only packed him a little snack, that could only be able to fill up a mouse. Small portioned healthy snacks was always her favorite to pack for her little boy.

Naomi groaned irritably, gazing at the restaurants as they drove by. People walked in and out of them, and some sat outside at tables eating delicious foods. The aromatic smell of Teriyaki chicken wafted into the car and made their mouths water, everyone severely craving the taste of wonderfully cooked food being served in the restaurants.

"Can we have some?" Kenji asked, pleadingly. It smelled just like heaven.

"We have no money..." Ayaka began with a sigh, but was cut off by Nana.

"Let's just take it," she stated blankly. As if it wasn't a big deal at all. Aki and Kenji gasped incredulously, covering their mouths with their hands as they stared at her with shock.

"Steal it?" Aki asked, bewildered as the girl gave him a questioning look as if to say, 'what?' "Yeah," Nana replied causally. "How else do you get what you need?" She shrugged carelessly as the two boys exchanged looks.

"You pay for it - mummy always told us it was wrong to steal." Aki explained in a stern voice, still a little baffled.

All three girls glanced at each other, as if stealing was the most normal thing in the world and everyone did it. They only knew to take things, though. They'd always been poor and could never afford half the things they have. To them it was as casual as paying for things.
