"I'm actually driving, you guys!" Naomi exclaimed, an a thousand watt smile plastered on her face. "And I think I'm getting the hang of it!" She turned around a corner, and stopped at a red light.

"Wow, Na," Ayaka said in awe. "I'm envious, how'd you learn to drive so fast?" She was actually impressed, and suddenly she wanted to be the one in the driver's seat. How could a preteen learn drive that quickly?

Kawaguchi was a very beautiful city, there were tourists everywhere! It was now morning, and the police had lost their trail, thanks to Naomi's maniacal driving. The sun peeked over the horizon, bathing them in its glorious peachy yellow hues. It was fairly warm today, some days were just plain chilly, other days were exactly like this one.

The city was bustling with people, and they waited in a row of cars at the stoplight. Nana watched the people walk by, and looked up at the tall, cylinder shaped buildings nearby her, eyes shimmering under the sunlight. Ayaka, still sitting in the passenger's seat, gazed at the picturesque scenery around them.  Her eyes fixed on every detail.

The light turned green and Naomi started the car up again, and they drove behind another car at a steady pace. "Where exactly are we going?" Nana piped up as she watched the streets, breaking the silence.

"To get rid of this car," Naomi replied, much to their surprise.

"What!?" Both Nana and Ayaka shouted in unison. "But we just got this!" Nana sighed, as her sister added, "Yeah!"

"Well, for one, our windshield is cracked, and our car isn't exactly in good condition." Naomi pointed out. "And police are on the lookout for this vehicle, and so is everyone else. So we have to go back on foot again."

Nana and Ayaka slumped in their seats, knowing she was right. "But, I know somewhere fun we can go," Naomi said excitedly.  The other two girls perked up. "Where?" They both asked in unison.

"My nana used to always take me there," Naomi said, a wistful look on her face. "Like, all the time." All ears were on her, waiting for her to finish. "It's close by," Naomi continued, looking down at the GPS in the car beside her. "Kawaguchi-nishi Park is me and my nana's favorite place to go."

"Naomi, watch out!" Ayaka cried out in alarm, pointing in front of them. Naomi looked in front of her and swerved around a vehicle before she accidentally hit it. The driver honked the horn at her and she apologized even though they couldn't hear her.

Nana looked out the back window, twisting around under her seat belt. "I think that guy just called you a bitch," she snickered, watching the car behind them continue on its way.

          "He did what?" Naomi gasped.

                               *******

"Wow..." Nana said, awe-struck as she gazed at the scene around them. Ayaka looked just the same, amazed at what she was seeing. While Naomi looked around as sweet memories flooded back to her.

Kawaguchi-nishi Park was indeed a fascinating sight to see. The three walked along gray stone/rock paths that wound their way around cherry blossom trees. A warm breeze blew, twirling their hair in the process and blowing scarce blossoms and autumn leaves around. The pink blossoms danced in the air gracefully and landed on the ground, there weren't many of these trees considering the time of year.
