In the beginning of the year, I hated your guts.

At least I thought I did.

The more I got to know you, the more we grew closer as friends.

You may ask why I hated you, it doesn't matter now, I was going off based of assumptions.

Now, I can't wait to see you everyday.

Your goofiness reminds me of someone so dear, myself.

Others may dislike you, but it's those who are actually rude and less desirable themselves.

I wish I could read you though.

You smile a little longer when I'm around you.

Every chance we get, we have some type of conversation.

When you visit my lunch table you go to me first.

You hug me a bit tighter than the rest.

But I still have a gut feeling it's all in my head...

So I would rather not lead myself on, when all you're doing is being friendly.

Everyone notices all the signs, I notice it too.

Why haven't you said anything?

But I'm not complaining.

I've never had luck on love.

Another unlucky thing to write in this "Love Poems" book.

Seems like more misfortune than luck or love.

Ugh.

So please tell me.

Do you like me?

If you do...

Prom?
