Ace
"Ace." Rocky said, smiling sadly at me.
"Yeah?"
"When will you be leaving?"
I froze. Did Sanha tell him?
"Did.... Sanha tell you?"
"Well I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation, but I overheard it. Where and when, Ace? And when do you plan on telling the others? Why are you leaving us?"
"Rocky-ah..."
"Ace!!! Where are you!! We'll be late!"
I scrambled around and nervously went in the house, leaving Rocky outside.
I fixed my hair and ran to MJ-Oppa.
"Let's enjoy our day together." I said, smiling.
We went to an amusement park for our date.
"Ace, which one of those stuffed animals do you want?" He asked.
"That one." I said, pointing at the unicorn.
"Alrighty. Ahjussi, four balls please." He said, handing the Ahjussi 4000 won.
The Ahjussi handed him four balls.
"How many wins for the unicorn?"
"Three." The Ahjussi said.
He threw the first ball, failing.
"I still have three more." He said, smiling at me.
He threw the second ball which flawlessly went in the small hole.
He threw the third and fourth which went in as well.
"Yes!" He said, fist-pumping in the air.
"Here." The Ahjussi said, giving me the unicorn.
"Thank you Oppa." I said, smiling sadly at him.
"Why are you smiling sadly at me, Aegi?? Smile happily!" He said.
We went to the food stands.
"What do you wanna eat?"
"Kimbap and a corndog." I reply.
"Woaaah. Is Miss Do hungry?"
I nodded in response.
"Alright; since you're hungry, I'll go get those for you." He said, kissing my cheek.
I sat down on one of the chairs with a table for two and placed the unicorn on the floor. Oh, how I'll miss these moments.... It hurts knowing that these kinds of moments will end soon.
"Here." He said, placing a tray full of food.
"What? Why did you get too much?"
"You're hungry, nae Aegi." He said, smiling at me.
I sighed and didn't reply.
I picked up a corndog and started munching on it.
"By the way, I overheard you talking with Rocky. Where are you going?"
I froze and almost dropped my corndog.
Oh shoot.
"I'm not going anywhere." I said, nervously smiling.
"Ace.... Please tell me the truth... I'm your boyfriend.... I deserve to know..."
I sighed.
"You have to trust me when I say that I will come back as long as I don't lose the stone." I said, tears threatening to fall.
