I tried.
Lost in everything going on,
My life seemed to be falling apart.
Hope faded, tears fell,
Looking for a sign,
For something for motivation.
Your smile got me through the days.
Happiness lessened lately,
Yet I tried to be fine.
I didn't want to annoy you.
Didn't want to make you mad.
Have my heart, whatever you need.
Any thoughts I had were bad.
Of all the things to happen,
My days got long and nights got bad.
Own your life was something I was told,
So I tried.
It didn't work, nothing did. I just...
